If Giuliani is not elected governor next year, the Republican party will be completely irrelevant in NY State for a generation. He can’t win without Bloomberg’s enthusiastic support in NYC. It’s as simple as that. Hate ‘em both, but hold your nose and support them anyway.

The GOP seems to be irrelevant up there anyway, or so far to the left that they may as well be democrats.

I wouldn't care, if they would keep out of national politics.

I really don’t think he’ll run for governor. He doesn’t want to lose any prestige in the state where he was “America’s mayor”.
