Obama’s fumbles on ‘Monday Night Football’ His propaganda has seeped into everything
NY Post ^ | October 18, 2009 | Kyle Smith

Remember that time President Bush interrupted the Emmy telecast to tell people we should support reform of Social Security before it bankrupted the country?

Neither do I. Yet when I tuned in to watch "Monday Night Football" this week to check out the Miami Dolphins’ Wildcat offense, I didn’t expect to see President Obama taking the direct snap and trying to pound his political message into the end zone.

Where’s the flag for illegal procedure? The president is popping up everywhere but Cialis commercials. How long before we have to watch him and Michelle holding hands in matching bathtubs as they lecture us about executive compensation schemes?

It doesn’t matter. It’s NFL. From what I read, no one’s watching that anymore. May it go the way of roller derby.

Did Michelle get called for “backfield in motion”?

According to my husband, who attended the Dolphins vs. Jets game, obama was booed throughout the playing of the video and it was impossible to even hear the audio because of it.

No, that was the half-time show by the Bar-Kays, "Shake Yo Rump To Da Funk".

If she did so... wouldn't she have to make several trips?

Now THAT information makes my day! Thanks for reporting it!

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/chat/2360984/posts?page=38#38 is the thread on FR that happened as that Obamalogue came on.

A lot of folks just shut off the game because of it.

(So with the Zero ads and the Rush broohaha this week, NFL should be having LOTS fewer viewers.....)

But I endured the ad - and wrote about something I had noticed because I usually will NOT TOLERATE listening or watching him for 1 second.

But the guy’s NECK is reeeallllyyy THIN and he appears almost anorexic like - very very skinny and posted that it appears to me that O is shrinking! A couple of others noted the same thing.

Just a side note. Wonder if he now has anorexia to go with his narcissism....

One thing I do know.

He can stay the hell out of my life.

He’s not my President, and I have nothing to do with him.

What a visual! I think I’m going to puke.

I live in Knoxville, TN and have two "Where's the Birth Certificate" magnetic bumper stickers on my vehicle. My experience is a lot like your husband's watching the booing of the Illegal Alien. My vehicle has suffered no vandalism due to those stickers and, to the contrary, I've been approached by five or six total strangers, each of whom has either politely asked about them or complimented me on them. On one else has ever said anything to me about any pollitical stickers on my vehicle, either pro or con.

The Illegal Alien isn't even really the President; he's just the usurping occupant.

This was reported on Fox News radio don’t know if it was reported much anyplace else.

Here’s a post laden with hypocrisy on the topic by one of the DUMMIES;

I went to a Miami Dolphins game last night and there was a lot of hoopla to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. So a bunch of celebrities were on the big monitors saying something.

President Obama was on the monitor saying some bs about Hispanic Heritage Month, but the scary part was that the moment, I mean before he even opened his mouth, the crowd started booing. Not just the knee jerk Republican Cuban Americans, no all around me people were booing.

I understand if you don’t want to hear a 3 minute message from the President during a football game giving kind of the same strive for success message he gave those school kids, but to reflexively start booing the moment his image came on the screen?

I was so miserable and embarrassed for my country. These people do not seem to understand the potential for greatness that this man has. They’ve been poisoned by this incessant, venemous tea-bagger crap. It’s seeped into the mainstream. And I just don’t think we can dismiss it as crazy tea baggers any more. I think this campaign to deligitimize him, denigrate him, cast him as some affirmative action, teleprompter king who is trying to destroy our country is seeping into the main culture. I mean the man does good things and is demonized for it. Black is white and white is black. The man can do no right for some people, both on the left and the right.

I mean, I don’t know the demographics of football fans. I expect sports fans to be kinda rude and drunk, but this was just over the top. I said to my friend, who is not a big fan of Obama’s, but refrained from booing, you know, I hated George Bush, but I respected the fact that he was my President and I would not boo him at a public forum. I have respect for the office. I felt very bad when he was booed at Obama’s inauguration.

It was just very disheartening.

There you go. It’s like Yogi Berra once said, “nobody goes there anymore—it’s too crowded.”
