Cliff Kincaid over at Accuracy in Media (AIM) announces Fox News has fired Marc Lamont Hill. Cliff represented AIM at NewsCorp's annual meeting. (”Accuracy in Media is a News Corp. shareholder.”) AIM reports that he asked Rupert Murdoch why someone with Hill's radical views would have a role as a Fox News commentator:
Before Kincaid completed the background for his question, News Corp. chairman Rupert Murdoch interrupted Kincaid to say that he appreciated Cliff's work on this matter, and that Hill had been "fired" last week.
We look forward to confirmation of this report. If accurate, it is a major improvement to Fox News and cable news in general. People of every side of the political spectrum should appreciate a robust debate, but radicals of Marx Lamont Hill's ilk do not merit a seat on the highest rated program in news, The O'Reilly Factor.
David Horowitz started the ball rolling when he questioned why Bill O'Reilly interviewed Hill, a "hip-hop culture" expert, for an entire segment about Iran. Then NewsReal bloggers, Cliff Kincaid, and others began digging... (More after jump.)

The problem with Google and other popular search engines is you often have to go through a few pages of results before you come across a non-leftwing biased article. That is, unless you're especially good with your search word selections.
Exactly right.
Great! I hope it`s true. FoxNews does`nt need to give that racist pig a regular slot.
Best news of the day!
The first few times I saw this jerk, I just shook my head in wonderment at how anybody like this, without a SHRED of the critical faculty, gets into a position of 1. being a faculty member at a wellknown University, and 2. Gets invited , in an apparent paroxysm of ‘fair and balanced’ into being a Fox News Contributor. Wonder why it took MONTHS to expose this hoaxster/imposter, and it took less than 36 hours to get the goods on the Keene family and their balloon hoax. Both were big FOX “finds”.
Don’t worry, I know the answer to both questions; mine was rhetorical.
Now they’re short one token leftist tool. Wonder if Obama is available.
I was in a barber shop while CNN was viewing this. I told the barber how dumb Rick Sanchez sounds & asked why they are watching CNN. He agreed & went & switched to FOX.
Well, I’m sure the Obama Regime learned alot about the inner-workings of Fox News while Lamont was there. And to think Mr. Hill couldn’t find any dirt on Fox to pass to our Government to use to destroy them, although they’ll keep trying. Keep it up Glenn Beck! What the government doesn’t know is that there is no corruption in truth. Fox News is the ONLY resource for truth in news and the Obama Regime hates that!
He was kinda funny on red eye to me. I don’t think he should have been fired. You need to have voices of the opposition on the network. That’s what makes fox fair and balanced compared to PMSNBC. IMO
“Gretas show is a lot better than it used to be. When she first started at Fox, just about every show was devoted to the latest missing/kidnapped white woman.”
Understandable, given that shes a former criminal defense and civil trial lawyer.
“Now theyre short one token leftist tool. Wonder if Obama is available.”
It would be above his pay grade.
Now get rid of that obnoxious Shepard Smith.

Shakur fled to Cuba by 1984; in that year she was granted political asylum in that country.[172] The Cuban government pays approximately $13 a day toward her living expenses.[174][178] In 1985 she was reunited with her daughter, Kakuya, who had previously been raised by Shakur’s mother in New York.[7] She published Assata: An Autobiography, which was written in Cuba, in 1987. Her autobiography has been cited in relation to critical legal studies[179] and critical race theory.[180] The book does not give a detailed account of the events on the New Jersey Turnpike, except saying that the jury “Convicted a woman with her hands up!”[62] The book was published by Lawrence Hill & Company in the United States and Canada but the copyright is held by Zed Books Ltd. of London due to so-called Son of Sam laws, which restrict who can receive profits from a book.[181] In the six months prior to the publications of the book, Evelyn Williams, Shakur’s aunt and attorney, made several trips to Cuba and served as a go-between with Hill.[182] Shakur’s autobiography is one of only two by a female Black Panther, along with Elaine Brown’s A Taste of Power.[183]
In 1993, she published a second book, Still Strong, Still Black, with Dhoruba bin Wahad and Mumia Abu-Jamal.[6] Shakur’s writings have been widely circulated on the Internet.[184] For example, the largely Internet-based “Hands Off Assata!” campaign is coordinated by Chicago-area Black Radical Congress activists.[185] As early as 1998, Shakur has referred to herself as a “20th century escaped slave”.[186] In the same open letter, Shakur calls Cuba “One of the Largest, Most Resistant and Most Courageous Palenques (Maroon Camps) that has ever existed on the Face of this Planet”.[186] Shakur is also known to have worked as an English-language editor for Radio Havana Cuba.[187]
