Most of us have seen the "Balloon Boy" vomit live on the Today Show this morning. My question is this: Was he drugged? Pay close attention to the boy's actions and his general demeanor. Pain killers often cause nausea and vomiting in those not accustomed to taking them. He appears to be in a sort of haze until he calls out, "Mom, I need the cup!", and then the chunks fly. In my opinion these publicity whores slipped their kid a "Mickey" to prevent him from blowing their cover and saying something "off script" again. Watch the video and let me know what you think.

I’ve noticed that just about every family on Wife Swap should be invesigated.
Especially this one all-natural Vegan family.
Their kids need to be rescued.
I actually prayed for this kid.
I dunno, maybe in reality my prayers were answered.
That family looked like they just got done sniffing glue though.
Arrgh.
I don’t want to see it, but I hope this is the last of that family, a brief 15 minutes has been more than enough.
An appearance on Wife Swap has all the luster of appearing on Cops, but with less tobacco spittle on the wife beater tank top.
The other episode I saw had a family in San Fran—the dad was a Brit who came over here and married an American. This guy was such a total mega-tool that I read in the paper a week later they had websites devoted to trashing him. I never checked them out—but the guy was a real winner.
That guy was something else.
One of the few episodes i ever watched.
I would have paid to see the kid hurl on Diane Sawyer on GMA!
I am outraged that they are being unfoundedly accused of drugging the boy.!
I have seen my granddaughter behave in the same way, sick, sleepy, then vomit. NO DRUGS INVOLVED.
Maybe the kid has swine flu???
Yeah, the kid might have been slipped something, but probably not a Mickey. Probably just something to make it look like he was vomiting. These are gross kids, kids that like to do and say gross things (as evidenced by their rap video and reportedly by how they behaved on that Wife Swap show). They probably burp and pretend to throw up and so forth all the time just for the fun of grossing people out. The father and mother are absolute attention seeking idiots, and the kids seem to be following in their footsteps. But yes, i believe the kid was told to throw up beforehand, as part of the show that their family puts on for the cameras.
Hildy, I was in the Hartsfield-Jackson airport in Atlanta as the balloon incident was playing out. I strongly suspected right then that it was a hoax - that it would be discovered that the boy had never been inside. It had to do with the way the balloon moved, as if the box attached to the balloon was nearly weightless. When the boy was found at home - hoax, publicity stunt, fraud, Dan Rather. My heart goes out to this kid, who has been forced to lie to protect his parent’s lie.
“I am outraged that they are being unfoundedly accused of drugging the boy.!”
Media frenzy and their dupes...
However, it is shocking is how the mother would not go to his aid when he got sick and DS had to tell her.
I read that the boy has asthma. Apparently, vommiting is nothing new to them.
I dont think this was a hoax..and the father explained in that breibart clip of the show, how that could have possibly happened.
He is a 6 year old child..and nobody should even be questioning him. I have 3 six year old grandchildren. These kids cant answer a serious question, nor understand a whole lot of a situation like this. They are still in tooth fairy mode at that age.
It was no surprise to me that this kid was scared and hiding. I think that is the reaction of a little child who thinks he did a bad thing.
I think everyone is being too hard on this family.
OR...the brother let the balloon go and blamed it on his little brother who got scared and hid like MOST 6 YEAR OLDS WOULD DO. Why does everything have to be a hoax, or a consiracy. It’s not a hoax...they thought the kid was inside based on information given by an unreliable source, but they erred on the side of caution. THERE IS NO PROOF this was made up for publicicy. And what kind of publicity? it’s all negative.
Unless you know them personally, shut the hell up. I hope you’re never in a position where the world judges you by information supplied by the media.
"Richard Heene makes Joe Jackson look like a good father"
Actually he's a "psyientist" - sounds the same, means something different.
