House Ways & Means Committee Chairman Charlie Rangel (D-N.Y.) held a hearing this morning to certify that H.R. 3200 -- the main House Obamacare bill which was the subject of all the town hall rage in August -- has met all requirements to pass as a “budget reconciliation” measure.
Under reconciliation, the bill can be passed by a simple majority vote in the Senate -- just 51 votes -- and will be given preferential treatment on the House floor as well. The Dems have apparently invoked the “nuclear option” to shut out Republicans and ensure the bill is passed before the end of the year. (see link for more....)

After the 50 year barrage of social conditioning via television, I just don’t believe Americans have the will to do anything other than stand in line. There may be a few who fight back, but IMHO this will go straight down the memory hole. Six months after this becomes law very few will care. It will be all about this seasons American Idol.

And like scar tissue that covers a previous wound, we can become tougher for the future, to prevent anything like this from happening again (eg., NEVER again will a person be able to run for POTUS without CONCLUSIVELY showing he is a natural born citizen.)
I recently re-read the story of Job. According to that Book, his blessings multiplied after he was severely tested and stayed true to his beliefs and faith.
Let it begin. They thought the March on Washington was funny. Let them see the next march of 20 million that refuse to leave.
Or to defend themselves from the coming depression. Our government is going to take so much of what people have earned, people will go Galt. The economy will crash, and food will be scarce. Why work to support everyone else when all your needs will be met if you don't? Welfare will be overloaded to the point where no one will be fed.
This has happened to every Socialist society before us, and it will happen again. Socialism never works.
Imagine a teacher adding up the classes test scores and giving all the students an averaged grade. The class may get a "B" at first.
The next test will come out lower, because the students have figured out they could get a free ride on the knowledge of other students. The class may get a "C".
The next test, everyone fails. Why study when the passing grades are free? Even the best students eventually decide it isn't worth the hassle to study like heck and and get a lesser (maybe even failing) grade just so the lazy could get their grades for free. Why shouldn't they get a free ride, too?
Michele Bachmann was on Glenn Beck’s radio show the other day and she pointed this out.
1 year ago 100% of the economy was driven by the private sector.
Today 30% is government driven - leaving 70% to the private sector.
If health care is taken over the government will have an additional 18% bringing the government to controlling 48% of the economy and 52% to private industry.
With cap and trade that is another 8% to the government.
That would mean 44% private(Free Market), 56% government controlled.
The government would have majority control of the economy.
In just one year of FUBO.
WTF.
The best we can hope for is a storm that will clear the air of the miasma we are currently suffering under. Then we need to set the conditions to make the next cleansing storm less of a maelstrom than what we face.
The Founders tried. They did a good job. We need to do better.

Everyone should stop watching CBS, NBC and CBS. Send letters telling of your disgust that they put this man in power.

People have lost faith in a higher power. They think they can "will" their own wants into reality. It doesn't work that way.
Even the quantum physicist claim something - a word, a thought, a nudge, from somewhere - had to start it all.
Those who don't believe in a higher power should give it a try for a few days. Fake it. Just hand everything over. They may be surprised by what they find.
Hubby and I agreed on that same statement number of times over the past several months.
The answer was apparently "no".
A devout Christian heard an urgent news report on his radio that a flash flood was within minutes of entering the peaceful valley where he lived. Immediately he went to his knees and prayed for safety. The words were still on his lips when he became aware that water was gushing under his door. He retreated to the second floor and finally onto the roof of his house.
While he sat on the roof, a helicopter flew by and the pilot asked over the loudspeaker if they could lift him off. "It's not necessary since I have the Lord's protection," he replied.
Moments later the house began to break up and he found himself clinging to a tree. A police boat, braving the waters, approached him for rescue, but he assured them that the Lord would save him. Finally, the tree gave way and the man went to his death.
Standing before the Lord, he asked, "Lord, I'm glad to be here, but why didn't You answer my prayer for safety?"
The Lord responded, "Son, I told you over the radio to get out of there. Then I sent you a helicopter and a motor boat!"
God has already let us know what we need to do. We are stubbornly standing on the roof of our flooding house waiting for direct Divine intervention THAT WILL NEVER COME.
We KNOW what needs to be done. We need to heed the warning, get in the boat, or climb aboard the helicopter. Anything less is just going to get us all killed.
Knowing the marxist revolutionaries that are at the controls, I am CONFIDENT that “we” are not the ones causing the shortage of ammo.

There are quite a few of us conservatives that are preparing behind the scenes for a possible confrontation and we do have enough firepower to turn back the liberal tide!
