House Ways & Means Committee Chairman Charlie Rangel (D-N.Y.) held a hearing this morning to certify that H.R. 3200 -- the main House Obamacare bill which was the subject of all the town hall rage in August -- has met all requirements to pass as a budget reconciliation measure.
Under reconciliation, the bill can be passed by a simple majority vote in the Senate -- just 51 votes -- and will be given preferential treatment on the House floor as well. The Dems have apparently invoked the nuclear option to shut out Republicans and ensure the bill is passed before the end of the year. (see link for more....)

“If the internet ever gets eliminated (or limited), then we have real problems.”
Does anyone even doubt that the marxist radicals in DC now have this high on their agenda? Silencing opposition is historically high, since the time of their founding father, the mass murderer Lenin.
The RATS are convinced, based on past history, that the voting public are idiots. I have to agree. Add the idiocy to short memories, and all the cemetery residents that will always vote RAT, and they are on much more solid ground than it might first appear. We are, indeed, in deep Kim-Chee, and it will take a Hurculean effort to run these b*st*rds out of office.

Actually they are going to buy the votes with the $250 check to the seniors - the largest voting block in non presidential elections.
A vote is like a rifle; its usefulness depends upon the character of the user. - Theodore Roosevelt
Amen!
Think again...
I just don't see the republicans actually getting rid of any socialized medicine once they're back in office...and we all know they'll win big next year...
they're like a bunch of prostitutes....
they won't speak strongly against ANYTHING and once its passed they'll be very willing to sit on the powerful committees that control it....

I know that reversing the legislation of one congress is bad political etiquette, but this thing, if passed, needs to be flushed by the first conservative Congress before it goes into effect. I think that will happen in 2011.
...and the bloodless Communist Coup D’etat of the United States of America is almost complete.
At this rate, it will be a very BAD year in AMERIKA!
Because the America we now and love will no longer be here!

You know what they have in common with Obama? They represent the workers party, and want unlimited power. All dictators including Obama!!!!
REVOLUTION! This is a PUTSCH against liberty! DOWN WITH TREASON!!!
2008 was closer than the final tallies appear to indicate. The right amount of effort in the right counties and 2012 could be a good year for America.

If we can keep ACORN shut down and SEIU money turned off, it would help. Obama raised almost a billion dollars compared to McCains public funding and it was still quite close. We need to find a way to expose the hidden money people. Corruption is what keeps the dems in power.
Neah.
The Democrats are pretty sure that most of ‘em won’t pay price for this. The American public is easily distracted. Some ‘Pubbie will do something stupid (again) and the medial will to wall to wall with the “Culture of (Republican) Corruption” again. And the voters will forget...
EBH - check out johnthebaptistmoore’s posting. It the most correct and accurate path to saving (or restoring) our country.
“Do we really understand the tipping point to start the American Revolution against England? What were those circumstances and how similar are they likely to be in the near future?”
The American Revolution against England was based on far less than what we are suffering now. At the time of the Revolution the people of the colonies were far more free than we are today.
” If they think Americans will quietly turn in our arms like the British or the Germans, they have severely underestimated the number of patriots left in this land.”
