This is IDIOCY. Not to mention absolutely out of hand! Why would Hondurans bring back a guy whi tried to take over the government in a Coup?
What kind of black arts are going on in Honduras?
Fascism is on the march.
Please tell me the political types in Honduras have more class and are more honest/patriotic than the political types in the US.
I’d be skeptical. Just because Zelya’s camps says it doesn’t mean it’s true. The Honduras government has been sticking to its guns so far, why cave now?
I like how many times they crammed in the word “coup” in this short little blurb.
Welcome to the new axis of evil - Venezuela, Cuba and the USA!
With an election taking place in a few weeks, with Zelaya constitutionally barred from being on the ballot, I suspect this is not that stupid of an idea - let Zelaya & his commie minions save some face as he serves as a figurehead for two weeks (while also placating the commie leaders in the US & Latin America), then be done with him.
and yet the UN Commission yesterday announced their findings that the Gov’t of Honduras followed their laws in removing zelaya.
P I N G
If this is from yesterday the Honduran govt stated no deal.
This is insane! I don’t yet believe it. This guy STOLE the equivalent of $2,000,000.00 USD from a bank right before he was ousted!!!!
I should hope the hell not!
Zelaya committed multiple felonies before his removal.
As was reported here earlier, no agreement has been reached between the two who matter. This is a reprint of the Reuters story-that-was-not-a-story from yesterday. Now, I am not saying this will not happened. I'm just saying that neither of the two principals have agreed to anything yet.
More and I more I am beginning to think future schoolchildren will look back upon 2009 as a year of infamy.
obama prolly bribing everyone over there to reinstate him
I would think that the Honduran courts would not allow this. Their Constituion expressly says that Zelaya forfeited his Presidency when he worked to change the term limit requirement.
He can’t serve out his “term” because that term has ended by forfeiture.
I’ll believe it when I see it. And, so far, no one from the interim government has commented. It could just be a case of propaganda coming from Zeleya, or bad reporting - or both.
Yes. And people will look back and say "How did they let this happen? Couldn't they see?"
