Kenyan-born Obama all set for US Senate
Kenyan-born US Senate hopeful, Barrack Obama, appeared set to take over the Illinois Senate seat after his main rival, Jack Ryan, dropped out of the race on Friday night amid a furor over lurid sex club allegations.
The allegations that horrified fellow Republicans and caused his once-promising candidacy to implode in four short days have given Obama a clear lead as Republicans struggled to fetch an alternative.
Ryan’s campaign began to crumble on Monday following the release of embarrassing records from his divorce. In the records, his ex-wife, Boston Public actress Jeri Ryan, said her former husband took her to kinky sex clubs in Paris, New York and New Orleans.
Barrack Obama "It’s clear to me that a vigorous debate on the issues most likely could not take place if I remain in the race," Ryan, 44, said in a statement. "What would take place, rather, is a brutal, scorched-earth campaign – the kind of campaign that has turned off so many voters, the kind of politics I refuse to play."
Although Ryan disputed the allegations, saying he and his wife went to one ‘avant-garde’ club in Paris and left because they felt uncomfortable, lashed out at the media and said it was "truly outrageous" that the Chicago Tribune got a judge to unseal the records.
The Republican choice will become an instant underdog in the campaign for the seat of retiring Republican Senator Peter Fitzgerald, since Obama held a wide lead even before the scandal broke.
"I feel for him actually," Obama told a Chicago TV station. "What he’s gone through over the last three days I think is something you wouldn’t wish on anybody."
The Republican state committee must now choose a replacement for Ryan, who had won in the primaries against seven contenders. Its task is complicated by the fact that Obama holds a comfortable lead in the polls and is widely regarded as a rising Democratic star.
The chairwoman of the Illinois Republican Party, Judy Topinka, said at a news conference, after Ryan withdrew, that Republicans would probably take several weeks to settle on a new candidate.
"Obviously, this is a bad week for our party and our state," she said.
As recently as Thursday, spokesmen for the Ryan campaign still insisted that Ryan would remain in the race. Ryan had defended himself saying, "There’s no breaking of any laws. There’s no breaking of any marriage laws. There’s no breaking of the Ten Commandments anywhere."

Not to be too contrary to a good idea (using current events to teach your children) but just to be fair, in this case Jack Ryan never had a problem “keeping it in his pants”. His problem was that he asked his wife to have sex in a public place. He didn’t want her to have sex with someone else, or have someone else join them.
So while he was perverted, at LEAST he still wanted to be faithful to his wife.
I’ll never understand why he ever suggested public sex, or even how serious the suggestion was. I know that a democrat would never have been hurt by such an allegation.
Obama also considers himself a native son of Hawaii.
I don't know how many Hawaii native sons have gradauted from the famous Harvard Law School, but I would think that it would not be very many.
So, wouldn't it be wonderful if native son and Harvard Law School graduate Obama could go back to Hawaii and practice law and make Hawaii citizens even more proud of native son Obama then they already are?
But I wonder if Obama would even dare to fill out a Hawaii state bar application to practice law in Hawaii.
1. The reason I ask this question is this: Our of curiosity, I checked google to see if the Hawaii state bar application to practice law in Hawaii was on the internet.
2. Yes, it is there. It is a pdf file. NOTE: I think I asked google something like "Hawaii bar application."
3. As I see it, if Obama ever dared to try to practice law in Hawaii, I think that he might have at least one problem filling out the state bar application.
4. The problem is this: The application asks the applicant if he has ever used other names in his life.
5. The application says that if you have used other names, you must list the names, list when you used them, list when you changed them, and explain why you changed your names.
6. My point is this: As I see it, Obama would have to write that at some point in his life he used the name "Soetoro", because there is obvious evidence that Obama used the name Soetoro when he was a little boy and living in Indonesia with his stepfather, Indonesian citizen Soetoro, and his mother.
7. That is, as I see it, if Obama filled out the Hawaii state bar application and did NOT list "Soetoro" as a name he used in the past, Obama could be in a lot of legal trouble.
8. NOTE: I tried to cut and paste the part in the Hawaii state bar application where it asks about the names an applicant used in his past, but I couldn't do it, because I think the pdf file was secured, and my computer skills are limited.
9. So if someone here who knows how to cut and paste a secured pdf file could cut and paste the section in the Hawaii state bar application where the application has to list the names he has used in the past, could you please do it for me? Thanks.
10. Again, I don't think that Harvard law school graduate Obama would dare to fill out a Hawaii state bar application, because he would have to list "Soetoro" as a name he used in the past.
11. And if Obama did list "Soetoro" and explained when and why he used that name, it would be political suicide for Obama, and it would prove that Obama had been a liar and a fraud all along.

That requirement of past names/aliases is required on other Bar Exam applications and I believe it has been brought up on the many lawsuits that were filed....

Do you have any idea how Obama was able to obtain an Illinois lawyer's license, if he first had to fill out a detailed Illinois state bar application like the one he would have to fill out if he applied to practice law in Hawaii?
That is, do you have any idea why Obama did NOT write on his Illinois state bar application that he once went by the name of "Soetoro" sometime in his past?
Do you think that there is any legal way for Obama to apply to practice law in Hawaii without first explaining on his Hawaii state bar application how the name "Soetoro" was part of his life sometime in his past?

To be totally fair Jeri wanted the records sealed and they were. She also fought having them unsealed and exposed.

One of the many Natural Born Citizen websites had a copy of his Bar Application and under aliases and other names he simply put in “None”
With enough web searches one can find it, because I recall seeing it and it being raised as a legal issue.
By a way there is a listing for Saetoro (Barry earlier name) receiving Foreign Student aide at Occidental College, his first college .
Plus a Selective Service record that has been tampered with.
These Orly Taitz have filed in her suit along with his many SSANs/addresses he has used, ...all felony type offenses.
Just curious. If this is true, why hasnt it been made public. Even fox stays away from this stuff, it seems.
Many times the local newspaper will change the title but the story is the same. If it is an AP article, then it probably has a different title. That said, this news outlet is from Nairobi, Kenya, so this local Kenyan newspaper reflects what they know or think about Obama being born in Kenya.
