A 17-year old girl who fled from her home, fearing her Muslim parents would kill her for converting to Christianity, must go back to Ohio, a Florida judge ruled Tuesday.
Judge Daniel Dawson ruled Ohio has jurisdiction over the case involving the teen, Rifqa Bary.
Before the girl gets sent back, the judge says he needs immigration papers proving her status in the U.S. and proof from the state of Florida that she can continue her virtual schooling and receive credit in Ohio.
She is expected to be placed in foster care when she returns and will also be provided with psychiatric evaluations. Her parents will also receive psychiatric evaluations.

If her parents “pass” the Psych eval, and she is forced back with her parents then the judge may have very well handed down a death sentence to an innocent girl.
What is this? Sort of a Muslim Elian Gonzalez type story?
...wonder if the judge ever asked a illegal criminal that same question?
May the judge enjoy the same fate as this girl who’s life he’s directing.
HIDEOUS
MAY THE JUDGE REAP WHAT HE HS SOWED INTO HER LIFE . . . WITH INTEREST.

Lord have mercy on her. We need to pray people. PRAY.
When does she turn 18.
the judge should get the F out of this.
It’s not just her parents that could be a threat, it is the entire honor-killing rest of her family and neighbors back in the home country. Are those going to be hauled in for psych exams too?
I hope the clock can be run until she reaches the age of 18, then she can apply for a genuine asylum.
“If her parents pass the Psych eval, and she is forced back with her parents then the judge may have very well handed down a death sentence to an innocent girl.”
No doubt about it. The judge evidently knows zilch about muslim law and also must not read the news or books. Even I, without a college degree, know this girl’s life is in danger. I heard on the news that the judge stated there was no evidence there is any danger to her. Okay. What will it take, judge, to show the error of your belief? Her death?
Does Floriduh have the death penalty? If not, then this court order should be contested.
I wonder how soon upon her return she is either reported missing or dead.
What the judge may very well "get" is this girl's death. Though she may be placed in foster care, there is certainly no guarantee that her father cannot find her and manage to kill her in spite of her protected status.
The thing that gets me is that the news is calling her a “Muslin Girl” she is not anymore, she is a christian.
Her death will be on him ...
She needs to keep running till she’s 18. Then tell the judge to stuff it!
That’s what’s so scary for that girl and you know she is completely aware of all of this. If she survives to 18, she needs to go in hiding from those loons.
