Only thing Vidal is right about is Obama being incompetent.There are nascent embryonic Hitler Youth out there, but the only ones are very and easily provably in OBAMA’s camp. This is blatantly obvious for anyone who’s awake and has been paying attention. This is a classic example of intellectual astigmatism on Vidal’s part.
But I would NEVER expect Vidal to come over to the conservative side, though he is far from stupid. He’s just totally stuck in this Post Cold War “attitude”. It’s too late for him to change.

Many years ago, Wm F Buckley and Myra Vidal were together punditing a political convention on network tv. Vidal foolishly called Buckley a Nazi, and buckley let him have it.
