The following news brief is a quote:
Syracuse, NY -- Syracuse fire investigators have not yet determined the cause of an explosion Thursday at the Ihsan School of Excellence, a private Islamic school on West Onondaga Street.
More meetings with investigators are planned before a determination is made, Lt. Joe Galloway, a Syracuse fire investigator, said today.
A cause for the explosion in the school's basement will possibly be released on Monday, Galloway said.

“Mysterious Explosion at Islamic School in Syracuse, New York” (SNIPPET: “Could have been anything.”)
Work related accident.

My wife and I drove by an “Islamic Center” of some sort a while back. She asked “What do they do in there?” I said “Plot.” We both had a good laugh.

Ihsan School of Excellence, Syracuse
SNIPPET: “Syracuse, NY — Syracuse authorities are investigating an explosion in the basement of a private Islamic School that forced the evacuation of 75 students this afternoon.
It was too early to determine if the explosion was intentionally set, authorities said.
“It would be crazy for me to say what happened here right now,” said fire investigator Joe Galloway. “We’re doing a very thorough investigation.””
SNIPPET: “The Ihsan School of Excellence, on West Onondaga Street, was filled with natural gas and a dust cloud formed after the explosion, authorities said. The blast occurred in an unused portion of the basement, school officials said.”
SNIPPET: “The school building will be closed until the investigation is over and the damage is repaired. School officials are looking for other places to hold classes if that takes too long.”
can’t disagree with that
even if I am laughing sardonically
it is the “religion of pieces” after all
Deep down, I’d like to see “STINKY IMANEEDASTRAITJACKET” Proclaim himself the 12th IMAM, and do a JIM JONES ON the whole bunch of them.
A friend of mine lives close to a huge “islamic center”. he said that the place is always packed and that if it ever looks deserted then he knows something big is about to go down.
It was the cosmetology department working on a new hair dye. Sadly the agricultural enrichment department was adjacent.
Like the Reeses Peanut Butter cup commercial, one ‘student’ was heard to exclaim, ‘You got your fertilizer in my peroxide, Achmed.’
‘No,’ came the reply, ‘You got your peroxide in my fertilizer, Hamid, and may the fleas of thousand camels infest your armpits.’
Upon realization of what happened the students ran outside, narrowly missing the impact of the blast. ‘Inshallah,’ they shrugged.
Question for the Lt.: Is that going to be a political determination or a scientific one?
Great minds think alike.
Thanks for your post.
My guess is all investigators have to present their evidence, put it together as a package and write up the report. The next step is the press release, if any.
Since this was a school incident; I’m sure there will be a press release which will state the investigator’s determination.
Until then, all is just speculative-opinion by non-investigators.
Micro terrorist attack?
**Micro terrorist attack?**
no, just PRACTICE!
Must have happened during the martyr football tryouts...
