Well, I didn’t see a thing, and they keep showing the same videos that don’t show a thing. Maybe I just missed it.

They did. But, Hubble pictures aren’t live. We’ll see them later.

they will be. Plus, I have friends who work for NASA so I can bug them if nothing else works.

But still, I’m glad I was here, seeing what little I did see. Otherwise I would have felt that I was missing out due to my negligence and disinterest. I was paying attention. Even though this won’t get much play in the media, this was a big step in exploration.

I just hope that NASA made good and sure the crash spot did not have a baby milk factory beneath it.

Bummer. Very anti-climactic.

Kinda like watching a Lindsay Lohan movie.

Thanks again.

NASA deserves congratulations.

The American taxpayer deserves NASA’s thanks.

Maybe we’ll be able to see the impact when its repeated at 7:31 a.m. Pacific Coast time.

“I’m wondering why they didn’t train Hubbell on it this morning.”

They did.

But that isn't a live feed or in motion. They probably started snapping pictures right after the first impact.

My pleasure. Thanks for talking through it. Our HS had a game tonight and I was worried I wasn’t going to get home in time. Fortunately things shortened by about two hours and I made it.

Again, you made it pleasurable. FReegards!

From spaceweather.com, a NASA-related site that presents material in plain English...

October 9, 2009:

LUNAR IMPACT! NASA’s LCROSS spacecraft and its Centaur booster rocket have hit the lunar surface. The impact flash from the Centaur booster rocket was not bright, but mission scientists say that could be good news, indicative of an impact in loose, water-rich regolith. Stay tuned for updates and images.

From yesterday's article:

The debris plumes will last no more than two minutes—billowing 1.2 to 22 miles (2 to 35 kilometers) above the crater rim—before they start to fade, NASA says

Hmmmmmmmmm, aren't these the same guys who told us they put men on the moon too?????

Obama is so peaceful, he can’t even bomb the moon.
