It's about time that this corrupt organization was exposed - they should all be in jail on RICO charges.

I have to go with Bertha on this one. The GOP is very much likely engaging in McCarthyism.
And as history has proven repeatedly, McCarthy was RIGHT!!!!
As is the GOP about ACORN's illegal practices.

ACORN CEO Bertha Lewis yesterday blamed the Bush administration for the organization’s woes and accused Republicans of “ACORN McCarthyism.” Yes, it was a beautiful example of McCarthyism. Well played.
Also, it could be an example of the beautiful art of swiftboating, if that term can be correctly applied to an organization, as opposed to an individual.
Maybe it will be more appropriate to use the swiftboating term when the uncomfortable personal information about Bertha Lewis comes out and sends her to prison for corruption.

McCarthy's error was in underestimating and underreporting how many communists had infiltrated the government.
Similarly the Congressional Republicans underestimate ACORN theft.
