Topeka, KS -- The case of a raped inmate in Kansas who was coerced into an abortion and taken to a Planned Parenthood center is generating criticism of Kansas corrections officials. But it is also implicating the YWCA, which appears to have misled the woman and arranged her abortion.

Hardly anyone I know even realizes there's a Y*W*CA! They are a vile, vile organization and a stark contrast to the YMCA.

Here's an interesting tidbit from their site (ywca.org):

The total income per year is almost $550 million. Of this amount:

* 44 percent is from government grants
* 28 percent comes from public support (individuals, foundations, corporations) and membership fees
* 18 percent comes from program service fees

I find it so interesting that the YMCA and the Boy Scouts have stuck to their traditions, while the YWCA and the Girl Scouts have become totally leftist. I guess now we can better understand the gender gap.
