And, STILL, what IS your point? Are you saying we should NOT provide medical benefits when these men and women are putting their lives and health on the line DAILY to protect this country? The care of our military is NOT ‘socialist’ as it is completely CONSTITUTIONAL — it’s one of the FEW things that the Federal Government does that is SPECIFICALLY mentioned as part of their duty to the people. Medical care is in the CONTRACT that is signed — it is a BENEFIT...
There is a HUGE difference between the General’s healthcare being provided by the government (paid for by taxpayers), and the Socialized Medicine Program they are attempting to FORCE upon EVERY citizen of this nation!

Okay, I get it. The General’s health is more important than my mother’s health. You’re a pompous piece of dung. My mother worked for 50 years and through most of those years she paid into SS and Medicare. When it became obvious that she could not take care of herself, and I couldn’t pay for her custodial care because I was working at a minimum wage job with no benefits even for me and my immediate family, she had to sign over the property that she and my father dearly wanted to pass on to my kids, in order to get the care that she needed. This is a screwed up system and you, sir, are a horse’s a$$

I just have to say one thing more. You are not only a horse’s a$$, you are an unrepentent hypocrite. I would wager everything I have in my savings account that you are either collecting SS or are on Medicare. If not, I’m sure that you plan to be at some point. I’m so sick of this hypocrisy. Go and examine your own life before you pass judgement on mine or my mother’s. If you want to remain consistent, I would suggest notifying the government that you want nothing to do with SS or Medicare when you become eligible. Otherwise you are a hypocritical horse’s a$$.

If he caught it early which he probably did he can put it behind him with some aggressive treatments. Mine was gone after 25 straight treatments and a seed implant. It was relatively simple and now more than 5 years later I have to stop and think when people refer to me as a cancer survivor.
My prayers up for the general as well. may he make all the right decisions about his treatment and his new path in life.

We pray you would touch and heal General Protectus. We pray you would give him strength and courage through this time and be w/the doctors as they treat him. We pray comfort for his family and friends through this time.

Prayers for a great man. Now, how long until those with ODS who haven’t done 1/10th of what these men do show up and start calling him a traitor ala GEN McChrytal?
I trust that he will be okay now. I also pray that he will be. Great man.
We ask our Heavenly Father to be with Gen. Petraeus as he undergoes his treatment for cancer. Please be with his doctors and guide them in their treatments of this great man.
