The relationship between President Barack Obama and the commander of Nato forces in Afghanistan has been put under severe strain by Gen Stanley McChrystal's comments on strategy for the war.
According to sources close to the administration, Gen McChrystal shocked and angered presidential advisers with the bluntness of a speech given in London last week.
The next day he was summoned to an awkward 25-minute face-to-face meeting on board Air Force One on the tarmac in Copenhagen, where the president had arrived to tout Chicago's unsuccessful Olympic bi

Washington hard ball? LOL!
BO is no hardball, he is a hacky sack- squishy in the center
Good brave Americans are dying, the press is reporting Michelle’s dress designs and BO’s choice of ice cream flavors, and Rhambo and Axelrod want to shoot the messenger.

McChrystal should resign and throw Obama under the bus, before Obama asks him to resign, and throws him under the bus.

Can you imagine what was said in this meeting. I bet McChrystal left the meeting spitting nails. He needs to protect his troops and the CIC is an arrogant jerk who hates the military.

Under normal circumstances I may agree, however, these are men and women who put their lives in the hands of McCrystal and he knows it. He won't resign because he feels a leaders responsibility to these war fighters and the orders he has been given will get them killed.

Obama can’t control his body language. It betrays him every time.

The Hill had a report this morning that many libs in congress are signing a bill that would prevent additional troops from being sent. Treasonous B@stards!

The meeting was just a photo op to paper over the fact that Obama had met only once with his field general in the war “we must win.” Axelrod was behind this meeting. It is all about PR and image.

You have that right — he wants to get back to taking this country socialist and partying. We lost 10 soldiers over the weekend in Afghanistan and ZERO gave the General a whole 25-minutes including photo-op time with the General and his wife. Photo-op failed as we can see the disdain that ZERO has for our military.

So, tell me again; who do you think this general (and others like him) will be for when the SHTF on the home front: the Constitution, his brothers, family and friends or this POS marxist muslim and his corrupt regime??

Nonsense.
Obama has NO plan.
Therefore, how could any General be publicly “opposed” to the non-existant plan?
This brave General did his duty, to his country, by exposing the evil and incompetence of Obama.
More power to him!
Obama has the power to remove the General.
Notice that the spineless Obama has not done so.
Which means, IMHO, that the General will speak again.
Which means, IMHO, that the POTUS will move closer to the General's position.

It’s likely McChrystal will retire soon. Then he can call Obozo for what he is.

The one-sided conversation is going like this” “General, let's get a few things straight. Number 1, I WON, number two, you work for me, Number 3, I am going to win the Olympics for my friends in Chicago, Number 4, do you know the price of arugula has gone up? Number 5, Letterman is funnier than you.”
The General will show the utmost respect for the C-I_C, even this one. The General may end up getting fired but he will definitely NOT resign. Just MHO.

You are correct about his body language — it bit him big time in these photos.

An adviser to the administration said: "People aren't sure whether McChrystal is being naïve or an upstart. To my mind he doesn't seem ready for this Washington hard-ball and is just speaking his mind too plainly."Unbelievable.

Obamugabe shows daily why he is compared to his soul mate in Zimbabwe: Arrogant to the point of being destructive to his country, brooks no opposition or criticism, and is a narcissist who will seek to destroy any and all that is not a part of him or aligned with him. This poseur is fatal to the interests of the United States.

Since Gen. George S. Patton Jr. is one of my heroes, I really admire generals who don’t mind getting pompous ass politicians “furious” at them. I think that it’s one of the most honorable things a soldier can do. Go General McChrystal! America is on your side! . . Patton was assinated on orders from the US administration. He got the wrong folks furious at him.

Progressive Caucus aka Socialist/Communist — that whole group wants to drastically change our way of life into a socialist country on the way to communism. The sooner the voters get it through their heads what the Progressive Caucus is all about the sooner we throw out the traitors.
