Human exceptionalism received a boost today with the news that human beings apparently did not evolve from apes...

...fairy tale?
What I think is with your Cain and Abel incest comments, after being exposed for the DC/DU/LGF liberal that you are...
on more than one thread in the last week alone...
basically, you’re just too incompetent to get yourself banned.
Another laughable FR closet liberal troll.
It must get under your skin to go back to your liberal friends and talk about how intolerant FR and conservatives are...huh?
“So youre going with the whole Adam/Eve/Cain Humanity-decended-from-incest route, eh?”
I don’t think there’s any “LUCK” involved here xcrement...
as has been noted on thread after thread, you’re very public excoriation on this subject speaks for itself!

It used to be thought that the common ancestor would be essentially a chimp anatomically, and that it was humans that did virtually all the changing physically while chimps changed little since the common ancestor. But the fossil evidence indicates that humans changed less than thought while chimps changed more than thought, and so the common ancestor is as close anatomically to humans as it is to chimps. In other words, the common ancestor is probably as much human-like as it is chimp-like and is roughly an even mixture of both, instead of being mostly a chimp.
That sounds like an awful wordy way of understanding evolutionists get awfully worked up, some to the point of lawsuits, because people rightly understand God created man in His image after all.
Maybe Darwin did get it completely and utterly wrong.
The evidence is certainly pointing more and more to that...with this and “Ardi” here lately.
===basically, youre just too incompetent to get yourself banned.
LOL!!!!!! I think you and Agamemnon should think about collaborating on a conservative satire site, or a right-wing Youtube comedy show! And if you both happen to become an overnight sensation and make millions, don’t forget about yours truly!!!!
PS I almost forgot Gordon Greene. He too is famous for ruining keyboards. I’m serious, I think you guys should figure out a way to combine your ample talents and take your show on the road! And again, let me once again emphasize the last sentence of my opening paragragh :o)
Let the Roller Derby begin!
The reduction of scientific debate to elbows to the head and knees to the crotch continues apace.
Says the roller derby veteran and current champion running for the past...10 years.
was an editorial comment on the religious bigotry on FR. That is, many people have very firm and closely held beliefs - which is a good thing.
Many people cannot fathom a belief other than theirs. This is not necessarily a bad thing - since faith is a mater of...faith. For the life of me, I don’t get Islam or the LDS.
The bigotry comes in when people will not accept that a belief other than theirs is NOT proof of evil intent, paganism, dogs mating with cats, etc. They hurl invective and vitriol, rarely address a direct question, and make every effort to reduce the discussion to an ad hominem attack.
Uh-huh...and how about evos that say things like Christian-taliban on 9-11 of all days, when people don’t agree with their evo-religious beliefs?
Does that count?
How about xcamel’s comments?
For heavens sake...nothing like a religious bigot saying believe what I believe or suffer eternal damnation paraphrasing, of course, but maybe you get the point.
Wow...lecture the creationist, on the same thread an evo is saying things like “fairy tale” and Adam/Eve/Cain incest route.
Incredible.
Just incredible.
No, I don’t get the point either.
What you’re seeming to assert is Jesus Christ is a bigot.
Either that, or anyone that believes or supports that particular line of scripture is bigoted?
Popcorn for supper tonight!
I see you've hit a nerve with this one! LOL!
“I think you guys should figure out a way to combine your ample talents and take your show on the road!”
Tennis, anyone?
This is the one to read, LOL! Thanks for asking me about “Ardi” the other night, I probably wouldn’t have pursued this latest missing link (LOL!) story otherwise. All the best—GGG

See what I mean :o)
Now let’s gets this thing off the ground so I can help promote your new site!
I dont know what the attitude on Free Republic is, but I personally do believe in evolution. There is just to much scientific evidence for it not to be true. This is an interesting discovery though since it shows we evolved not from chimps, but we share a common ancestor with them. Veeery interesting
Do you ever ask yourself if the science is so overwhelming, why do so many evolution findings require lawsuits to prop them up?
How does FR feel about evolution, creation?

LOL! Shakes it up all right!
Well, how about God made us exactly as He said He did, scientifically speaking?
What about that...is THAT conceivable?
The sheer arrogance on these threads continues to astound me.
It shouldn’t.
It’s the 5th column...as betty boop exlained the other day, FR and conservatism and Christianity are “rich targets”.
It shouldn’t.
But it does me too Scott.
Really? Tell us what "scientific evidence" you believe is so convincing.
We also note that you are new to the forum.
Hey AG, have you read this one? Why is it that I’m the only that finds this one funny??!!??
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2353767/posts
PS Any thoughts on taking your knee-slapping comedy act on the information highway with a few of your similarly funny-boned FReepers? :o)
Should we really be surprised that evos believe they descended from ancestors, who when they introduced themselves to them form the first time found them to be smashed?
What sends me into uncontrollable fits of laughter is that this follows immediately on the heels of the Ida hoax. And now they are hanging their hats on a sad, disintegrated fossil that has been pulverized by what they think might have been a herd of hippos. You just can’t make this stuff up!
