Uh... yeah. Like I said, evolutionists don’t claim humans evolved from apes.

No. Look at your own words--they don't make sense. Apes came from a common ancestor--they aren't the same as that ancestor.

It's not about accepting the belief. But you kinda need to be honest about the belief you're arguing against if you want to be taken seriously.

I'm sure somehow you will get over it.

And no, I'm not asserting in anyway that Jesus was a bigot. It wasn't even a very good try.

As you reread my comment, perhaps this time you will note it's not what a person believes, but rather their egoistic condemnation of people who do not hold the same beliefs.

“Maybe Darwin did get it completely and utterly wrong.
The evidence is certainly pointing more and more to that...with this and “Ardi” here lately.”

—How is finding a chimp/human intermediate, shortly after the time we believe chimps and humans to have forked, evidence that Darwin was wrong? Wrong about what?

In their world, there is nothing that Darwin could be right about. To them, he is above Satan in evilness.

This is probably the closest example so far of the “missing link” they keep asking for.

So what does GGG and the rest do- they criticize that one of the skeletons they found was trampled and in pieces. Guess they don’t make jigsaw puzzles.

The scientists took painstaking care to be correct. It took 15 years of study before they published. They’ll criticize that next.

Oh yeah that’s right. I don’t blindly believe that the world is 6000 years old so I’m a liberal communist propagandist. Who’s ‘we’, do you operate like a hive mind?

I guess because I do believe in the theory of evolution that must mean I’m a tax and spend democrat who loves abortions and gay marriage and thinks the world is ending because of global warming! Mhmm, can’t get enough of it. Yay terrorists!

Seriously, if expressing a different opinion on here is going to get me banned (since the hive mind of Aga seems to have noticed I’m new) I don’t wanna be apart of the site :/

Naaa.. its the ‘hive mind’ controlled by GrimyGopherGuts & tpussy.

They throw block parties when an evo ends up getting banned from FR.

I understand that’s how liberals feel when Jesus exclaimed He is the truth and the life and no one will come to the Father except by Him...

Liberals get all...THAT’S RACIST everytime and anytime they hear that, or anything else they hear that’s “uncomfortable”.

So...don’t dance...did Jesus have some giant bigoted ego or something when He condemened people when He said that?

Merely repeating what Jesus professed IS what we believe, it’s not necessarily meant as condemnation...but if that’s the way you liberals demand to take it everytime you hear it...

oh well!

That’s what kills me about libersals...it’s not about what a person belives...but rather their egoistic condemnation of people who do not hold the same beliefs.

NEVERMIND it just so happens that’s one and the same with Christians! Actually, Jesus condemened, but let someone point out His condemnation to a liberal and by golly then it’s time to attack the messenger.

And it’s why we see Christianity above all other religions attacked in this country...they just don’t like the message.

Thus all the contortions and coniption fits to have manger scenes removed from public...well ANYTHING and EVERYTHING Christian removed from public.

well that and liberals know better than to attack say muslims...might just lose thier head!

Huh?

It doesn’t even prove a fork, much less a “missing link”!

WTF??!!

If you can't argue the facts then start attacking someone as a liberal. So if someone disagrees with you not only are they a heretic but they are also a liberal.

Jesus has the power to condemn. You do not.

You interpret what Jesus said (or you think he said) one way. That others interpret the same words a different way is not heresy or worthy of condemnation.

Well, how about God made us exactly as He said He did, scientifically speaking?

He sure did. There is no doubt in my mind. We are an impatient bunch and several purists out there believe God snapped his fingers and it all happened instantly, as is described in Genesis. I believe that we are and have been exactly as God has made us. I am not sure he is done with us yet. But I also believe, in his infinite wisdom, that trying to explain something as complicated as the details about how he launched our existence would have been far to abstract for his people say 5,000 years ago.

I cannot grasp how long one of God's days are, but given our ability to think, reason and learn (which are all traits given by God), in a perfect world, there would be room for personal and racial (human) growth as we exist in this very short journey to prepare our individual souls to join him in paradise.

If our knowledge were limited or stifled, we would never become wise. We are deigned to learn and grow. God gave us plenty of things to learn and plenty of room to grow as work to pass this short 80 year journey/test.

If it was pure and simple, cut and dry, where would we as a race utilize our God given talents to serve others and perpetuate God's people? How long do you think you would last in a 50'x 50' room with white walls, your family and all the food and water you could drink if you only had one book? It would be a bleak existence and you would quickly find an end to the potential development or expansion of your mind, body and soul.

I am not sure Jesus wold have resorted to the tone and rhetoric you demonstrate as he persuaded the masses to accept and understand God. He was a very charismatic individual and did use inflammatory language but in an effort to welcome others in. I don't recall a time where Jesus condemned an individual in his presence. He always invited repentance and reform. Condemnation is forever and is final. His use of condemnation was always contextually guarded when explaining the consequences of sin. His explanation to redemption was pretty straight forward, however, as you posted.

If that one book congtained God's Truth FRiend, I'd have all I ever needed!

And look again, it's not one book.

Besides, you have to be wary of books, for the sake of books alone...alot of them are written by liberals. You can read thousands of books and won't find any of the things you're seeking for your mind, body OR soul.

I think I'll go to bed praying for Christ's forgiveness as I do everynight, including my tone and behavior...and I'd rather mess up my delivery than my message...

because to water down or dismiss the message, and/or attack those that impart that message as bigots, particularly the message of God's judgment, the existence of hell, pretty much being apart from God for all eternity...

would be a MUCH larger mistake IMHO.

I argue the facts just fine...you’re the one running away from it...

it’s not an ambiguous proposition!

Jesus said it, I didn’t. You needn’t worry about me, I’m not your judge. He is. He’s the one that sets the rules, not me, I’m just the messenger...if you don’t like the very clear message or choose to butcher the message to suit your own ends, then that’s your deal not mine!

But you’re the one doing the attacking everytime you open your big trap blabbering liberal nonsense about “bigotry” just because someone rightfully understands and points out this particular scripture.

Just because someone brings it up, doesn’t mean they’re judging you. If you don’t like to hear it, oh well...sheesh there’s alot of stuff I don’t like to hear to!
