When I heard their speeches were all "me me me I I I me me me I I I ", I had a feeling that might not go over too well. Also taking Ophra was tacky and Oprah looked tacky. This is what represents us? A pig stuffed into a mini skirt and MO in a hideous, tacky dress that looked like some 13 year old's 1960 prom dress made from gold foil.

Then add MO's comments at the UN meeting, telling people she was going after them, taking no prisoners. Add the fact that Chicago's crime rate is horrendous, infested with gangs. The only thing they could do was show the city sky line on the lake. Big deal. As if that's pretty. give me a break. The Olympics would have been relatively close to the South side of Chicago and I don't think that appealed to anyone, no matter what MO or Bo said.

I think their overbearing manner, the fact that they made it all about them was blatantly obvious. Also, I don't think Daley sitting there helped any. It's not like the rest of the world doesn't read the news. Chicago thuggery is well known outside of the United States. It would have been a multi billion dollar pay to play and people like Jarret, Axelrod, Emanuel and BO and MO would have all benefited down the road. A great way to use tax payer dollars and funnel them into the cesspool aka corrupt Chi Town political machine

That said, in a way I hoped that they would get it. For one reason. It would have been funny to watch the money trail and there might have been some explosive things there. I really think BO was secretly hoping that they didn't get it. I think people focused on Chicago and the Daley machine for the next few years, was the last thing he wanted.

MO wanted it, her pal Valerie really wanted it, Daley really wanted it, not so sure mmm Barack Hussein Obama mmm, did.

Glad Rio got it. It's beautiful there, will be fun to watch. Chicago...NOT!

Actually he’s one guy in a very large group of people and I don’t know him all that well. Was at his house one night with our neighbors who introduced us to him and he said that just as we were walking out the door for the night. My jaw and my husbands just about hit the floor, but I didn’t say anything since I was in his house.
