The unit is housed in the Office of Public Affairs. Not only is the Department of Justice Blog Squad going to reach out to nontraditional media like TPM Muckraker or the Muffled Oar, but they are also tasked with placing anonymous comments at conservative leaning blogs such as the Free Republic.

I agree with several other posters here. Sunlight is the best disinfectant. Spread it around the net. Force them to publically deny it, which will functionally be the same as them admitting it for most people (Bismarck’s Law - “Never believe anything until it has been officially denied).

And, of course, the Democrats shot down funding for any P.R. countering anti-American propaganda in Iraq. Like fighting the lies told by our enemies was a crime.

Let’s not forget which part of government we’re talking about here. This isn’t first and foremost about providing mere positive spin for Obama and Holder. We’re talking about the agency which could find a way to come down on most any American like a ton of legal bricks if it decides it wants to.

Ask Bill Gates what the Clinton Justice Dept. did to him after he refused to pay their extortion.

Ask him how quickly things cleared up when he caved and paid.

We’ve now reached a point where I could very easily become a target simply for typing and posting this comment.

These people make Dick Nixon look squeaky clean by comparison.

Every decent American should be OUTRAGED at this.

Okay, if there’s anything to this then I expect this blogger to at least pass along all the information to Breitbart.

American tax dollars fund terrorists overseas,
and those who protect mobsters, gangsters who eat people,
gangsters who attack voters, and those that cover it all up.

“D.C. Tech Official Is Accused of Bribery(Birth Certificate Forgery)
A D.C. government official and a business executive were arrested yesterday on bribery
charges involving city technology contracts that included "ghost" workers and
kickbacks, federal authorities said. Until recently, the technology office was headed
by Vivek Kundra, who has taken a job as President Obama's chief information officer.
A White House official confirmed last night that Kundra has taken a leave of absence.
“Yusuf Acar, 40, who has worked in the technology office since 2004, was charged with
bribery, conspiracy, money laundering and conflict of interest.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Thomas Hibarger told a federal judge that Acar is a flight risk because agents
seized $70,000 in cash in his house and because in recorded conversations, he boasted that he could easily flee to his native Turkey.
Acar also told the informant that he could use
computers to create fake D.C. birth certificates, Hibarger said. “

Thought the DC chapter (and lurkers like me) would like to see this additional proof of illegal activities by the administration. Info on Ms. Russo was posted later in the thread by a freeper. As well as the FBI tip line :-)
