The Department of Justice has hired a team of partisan Democrat campaign bloggers to work at the Department.....Tracy Russo is one such blogger from the campaign of John Edwards. The unit is housed in the Office of Public Affairs....They are also tasked with posting anonymous comments, or comments under pseudonyms, at newspaper websites with stories critical of the Department of Justice, Holder and President Obama....There is clearly a designed effort to rebut stories that are exposing the Holder Justice Department as more political than the last. Weve seen a change in the pattern of anonymous emails we receive and comments posted at our papers webpage.

The "Hatch Act" is so limited that a first year law student could argue against it.
It was designed that way unless Congress got involved by way of convicion of perjury.
IMO the Hatch act is simply a political waypoint and not enforceable by itself.
It's almost impossible to prove.

"The "Hatch Act" is so limited that a first year law student could argue against it." While the Hatch Act doesn't prohibit much for most federal employees, employees in some federal agencies do have real and enforceable restrictions placed on them. One of those agencies is the DOJ - which is mentioned in the story.
If this is true - and I'm dubious - it would be clearly illegal and an experienced attorney - let alone a 1L - would have his hands full defending such an allegation.
Everything that happens on the internet leaves an audit trail. If a violation could be proven, anonymous internet postings could easily be the requisite smoking gun. Which is precisely why I'm most dubious of the story. Then again, I wouldn't think anyone would be stupid enough to hold a conference call where they solicited help in the creation of artistic propaganda. But, we see that this did indeed happen.

I know. We have to give them credit, even if they have to repeat themselves 100 times. They are genuine, determined and steadfast in their battle against people who shall remain nameless.

For some reason, that reminds me of a label on a designer handbag. You're seeing "Ministry of Prada-ganda".

LOL That’s FUNNY! You caught me. I was looking at purses today for my daughter’s Christmas present. She likes one particular designer, whose products are great, and when they’re on sale or clearance, I like to treat her. I am not a label/designer endorser, and WON’T spend the crazy prices. EVER.
