I just watched the Tokyo presentation...it was very good...they may not be the best speakers...but they got their message across...the Olympics is for the Athletes....

They will celebrate the Athletes...not a city or those that put on the show...

Those net petticoats were always itchy!!!! And when you have to sit in them for a long time, the backs of your legs eventually itch so bad they feel like they’re on fire!!!!!

I know because I wore them. When I was six or so I was a slave to fashion, so I put up with it. In fact, I so loved my petticoats (especially the red one), that I would hang upside down on the jungle gym so everybody could see it!!

Agreed. Chicago was totally self-focused,
self-congratulatory .. NOT on the athletes
and what is good for them; and just for their
plan alone .. discounting the overwhelming
negatives ... they don’t deserve them.

I hope the contact the No Games Chicago group
had with someone connected to the IOC got their
information to the right people.

Yea the Obamas kinda reminded me of the Jordan speech...very self centered almost forgetting the reason why they were even their....the only reason they will win, and noticed I said THEY....is because they had deep pockets.

shame...a real shame

CPaP, ROFLMAO!!!

Have you seen that commercial with the guy scuba diving with a cat, and the cat has on a scuba tank and scuba mask? It’s really funny. I forget what the product is.

I wish I could give you HOPE, but things don’t seem to be headed toward the right CHANGE yet, so I’m pessimistic. I think The Chicago Way will win the day.

Wow, impressive expression. Ostammer really looks thoughtful and introspective in that photo. We can see that fine, powerful mind mulling over the finest nuances of human thought. Not even Socrates or Plato could match ostammer’s mental prowess!
