Okay, Code Pink did not intentionally praise former President George W. Bush, but that is the clear result of the photographs the group has posted of their first days on their week-long trip to Afghanistan that began this week.
Before President Bush ordered the liberation of Afghanistan in the fall of 2001, the Taliban controlled the lives of men and women--with an exceptionally cruel domination of women. Thanks to President Bush and America's armed forces, intelligence operatives and foreign service officers, Afghan women are not forced to wear burkas and girls can go to school:

No burka's here. Thanks, President Bush!
No burkas here, either. We love President Bush!!!
Unfortunately for the women of Afghanistan, Code Pink is in bed with al Qaeda, the Taliban and Barack Obama. The purpose of their trip is to undermine support for the war on terror.
Sorry, Afghan girls and women. You are just props for Code Pink.
More photos here.
First person account of trip by a fellow traveler here.
Stand with the D.C. Chapter of FreeRepublic.com at the White House Monday morning, October 5, as we support our troops in Afghanistan and counter Code Pink and the usual gang of America hating leftists (inside and outside the White House.) Details here.

I love it, kristinn!
“I’D HIT IT!!!
Medea Benjamin?”
With a mace hopefully.
The L/MSM fear such slide shows.
Whatever it takes to satisfy the far left and get reelected. . The guy is in constant campaign mode . a "pre bailout" message? The poor people of Afghanistan. . It will be like after our bailout in Vietnam. . Put that one on the Dems too. . Millions died.
Ditto. He put this nicely.

Pity is that as soon as we leave and the Taliban takes over, all those women and girls will be roadkill..

Bush liberated them. Obama enslaved them.Let History speak the truth.
Obama will be the last president we ever have of his political persuasion, he will be so horribly bad for the country and the world in general. His legacy will be one of blazing infamy. If he abandons these women now,his legacy will border on the genocidal, a thing which rests lightly on the shoulders of a national socialist like Obama, as it did on his predecessors in Europe.
Obama has already showed us his insensitivity to genocidal conflict , which his support of Odinga caused in 2007. His Luo couusin Odinga ordered genocidal riots in Kenya, which slaughtered thousands of women and children, but the press wasn’t looking at that.Few know of Obama’s genocidal connection.
You can read about it here, click on the Africa link:
The women in Afghanistan? Its not likely that Obama really gives a $hit.
Thanks for the ping, ohioWfan.
God bless George W. Bush!
“Im sure theres a joke to be made about American liberal women and the need for burkas . . .”
Helen Thomas, perhaps?
Yep...I still get teary eyed when I see this pic:
Any guess’s on who Code Pink will then blame?????
Thank you for fighting the good fight there at Walter Reed! I’ve seen a lot of the after action reports, and I wish I could have joined you all—prayers and gratitude to all of you doing this week after week!! :*)
Thanks for this very informative thread, Kristinn!
