Oh joy. Please God, help us relocate by then.....

COLOGNE, Germany — The Federation of Gay Games announced this afternoon that Cleveland will be the site of the 2014 games.

The city was chosen over Boston and Washington, D.C., after a year-long site-selection process, the organization said in a news release issued at 1 p.m.

"Cleveland demonstrated to the Federation of Gay Games that they understood the mission of the Gay Games and our principles of ‘Participation, Inclusion, and Personal Best’," said Kurt Dahl, of Chicago, and Emy Ritt, of Paris, FGG Co-presidents.

Not the MOST liberal place in America. San Francisco would be far more logical.

True, but if the standard was one of awfulness rather than liberal dominance, San Francisco is still too nice a locale. On the other hand, and in fairness to Cleveland (where I once lived), Gary, Indiana might have been a better choice.

Go Browns!

An aptly named team with a coach to match.

...you can just see where this is going..

Closets, I'm thinking something with closets.

Something for MsNBC to cover (Olberdork and Maddow in the booth)? [Darn, he ruins football for me.]

‘Participation, Inclusion, and Personal Best’

Gee, wonder where they got that motto?

The movie was praised by critics for providing a realistic look at the world of women's athletics, for exploring the complex relationships that can exist among teammates and their coach, and for its sensitive portrayal of the relationship between an older lesbian (Donnelly) and a younger bisexual woman (Hemingway)

No actually, I used to live there. Beautiful place, really. My mistake. Check out the cultural wonders on the East Side sometime. But if I were you, I’d pack nothing smaller than a .45.

Barney Frank raised his fist in approval.

Maybe 0bama will be there to throw out the first boa (the way he throws, he's a shoe in for a medal).
