The State of New Jersey is now mandating every school child be vaccinated, otherwise they will be kicked out of class. This ABC news report covers the story
Get a life. This is trial lawyer haven New Jersey. School administrators may be hacks, but they’re not complete morons. Anybody older than 10 in this state knows that has all the earmarks of a mega-bucks lawsuit.
Thanks for the ping DVDMom, The video I watched referenced pre-school and day-care children. Does the requirement include elementary thru high school as well?
How do we really know if it is harmful or not? It hasn’t been tested much and it’s quite new.
I wouldn’t vote for mandatory vaccinations. People can make their own decisions. If it was that bad people would take the vaccine or live with the consequences. It is called personal responsibility.
“I still believe this swine flu deal is way over hyped.” I hope I don’t have to eat those words, but I feel the same way.
Darn if they get kicked out, they will not be able to participate in singing their love for 0b0z0 .
“I really worry for my niece, her mother is an egghead that doesn’t understand the agenda of the left.”
My refers to people like that as sweet bubble headed boomers from ZBerkley.

I do, and that is what makes it so frightening. It is also what make it that much more important that we stand up and speak out now, so we don’t have to protect ourselves with weapons later. “Dear Leader” and the radicals advising and supporting him want to remake the country into their socialist fascist ideal and don’t care what is good for the country or any of us citizens. They also seem to be spending a lot of energy trying to silence all dissenters. What you had to go through with your child is terrible. Forcing that on another is despicable!
Neither did I. It’s almost as good as Oklahoma.
That state needs a Republican governor. :D
How is this any different than any of the other shots required for school attendance?
Most states have ways to legally opt out of vaccinations that we have been led to believe are “mandatory”. There are medical, religious, and philosophical exemptions if you have access to the right information and forms. It is not generally publicized because they want you to cooperate and get vaccinated. The current discussions like in New Jersey, and what is happening in Massachussets would have no exemptions, which is why many are getting upset about it.
This will spread. Mimics are everywhere in government.

Good. I like the fact that this lawsuit exists. I believe the following statement in the linked article, “...thimerosal mercury, which have [has] been proven to cause autism in children with lowered immune systems,...” has not been proved.
More and more the evidence for autism is pointing in the direction of exposure of pregnant women to heavy metals. What levels of heavy metals in food wouldn’t affect an adult can be devastating for a prenatal and postnatal baby.
“I would remove my kids and homeschool.”
Homeschooling is a good idea for lots of reasons, but the fact is that state and local governments have always enjoyed drastic powers for dealing with infectious epidemics. In the recent and even distant past it was little different than it is today. It is natural to see every encroachment on personal freedom as a symptom of Obamunism, but in this case probably not.
“Doctors may refuse swine flu vaccine’

(snip)”...Doctors may refuse swine flu vaccine. Several studies suggest up to 60% of GPs would oppose being immunised because they are concerned the safety trials will be rushed...”
(snip)”...The biggest reason given by those who said they would not have it was concern that the safety trials would not be adequate: 71.3% said they were “concerned that the vaccine has not yet been through sufficient trials to guarantee safety”. Half 50.4% said they “believe that swine flu is too mild to justify taking the vaccine”. Only 8.7% said they did not believe they were at risk...”
“More and more the evidence for autism is pointing in the direction of exposure of pregnant women to heavy metals.”
I’ve read it is at least partially hereditary, and the recent increases in autism is due to broadening what is considered autism.
The heavy-metal theory is very logical, but hard evidence has so far been lacking.
I never will regret leaving the Peoples Republic of NJ for the Lone Star state. I do not trust this vaccine in light of all the information that we know about it’s composition and the drug-makers being shielded from lawsuits. I am sorry that healthcare workers and the children of NJ have to be the guinea pigs for this human experiment and pray that everything goes well and everyone comes out healthy and flu free.
