A contingency for your consideration: A virus that spreads like influenza but causes blindness. Infected people are superspreaders, and vaccine is 90% effective. I'd vote for mandatory vaccination, and so would you.

I doubt seriously if kaizen, or me, would want mandatory vaccination is such a situation(which is a little on the stupid side on your part)because everyone would be running into get vaccinated. To think people would say, "oh, what the hell let me go blind" is more than idiotic.

Here is the fallacy of any "let's force them to be vaccinated" rant.

Let's say your idiotic scenario came about, we all rush to get vaccinated but some people don't, we won't catch it, we have been vaccinated(actually your 90% effective is just about what the effectiveness of any vaccine is, none are 100%)so why force anyone else to have it, let them go blind? Their contagion will only last a short period, no one who is vaccinated will get it(even with a 90% effective ratio).

People like you only want to control others and force them to do what you want them to do, so I have no doubt you would vote for mandatory vaccination, in fact I think you want it for the whole country on this H1N1 BS.

There is never a reason to force vaccinations, in schools or among the general populace.

My daughter tells me that she will NOT have her kid vaccinated. She lives in Maryland but she is determined.

God I hate living in a dictatorship. I don’t know if my daughter’s right or not but judging by the set of her jaw, her assertion that she will keep her out of school if need be, her determination that the swine flu vaccine has not been tested enough and she won’t let risk her daughter (obviously my granddaughter) life just cause the gubmint says so.

Really, there is no other way to go now. The public schools just get more aggressively bizarre all the time.

As the public schools slide into a communist pervert’s paradise, homeschooled kids are not going to “fit in.” That is good but it is also going to be an extreme difference that you won’t be able to wall paper over as we did with our kids over ten years ago.

Personally, I don’t think parents have a choice anymore but to pull the kids out of the factories. But I am pretty certain the Marxists will be banning homeschool where they can in the country. They can’t have any free people escaping the re-education camps.
