We're always supposed to be ready to give an answer for the hope we have (1 Pet 3:15), but we also need to keep in mind the parable of the sower, and the command to shake the dust off of our sandles and move on.
When someone asks a question about my faith, I always ask them if they are truly interested, or are just attempting to snipe and "poke holes". If the former, I'll engage. If the latter is obvious, I shake the dust off.

Think about the Hollywood and leftist "outrage" over Mark Foley sending inappropriate emails to 17 & 18 year old boys. Now, I'm not defending Foley, whose conduct was depraved and reprehensible, but it wasn't rape. It might be argued that the GOP lost the House, or at least lost more seats that year, precisely because of those inappropriate emails
And yet, the very people that benefited from Foley's sick proclivity for young men, are the most ardent defenders of Polanski. The hypocrisy on the left is unrelenting.
I'm not so sure about that. I think goal of Hollywood types is to lower the age of consent and make sex between adults and 13-year olds legal.
Plying a 13-year-old girl with champagne and quaaludes after tricking her into a hot tub during an alleged “photo shoot” isn’t “rape-rape”? What kind of rape is it then, Whoopi?
She is lying. There was no sex before the champagne and drugs, and the girl protested and said no. Even Polanski admitted that.
Do people even know Polanski’s politics?
That's an insult to liberals. Woopie is just a big mouth idiot. I doubt any liberals outside of the Hollywierd mutant cult would try to justify a grown man drugging and screwing a 13 year old girl under any circumstances.
