Let’s see if this makes the NY Times Best Sellers list.

Hopefully it will be net advertised and will show up on DU & KOS (other). (referring to ads that are placed randomly on the host site without their knowledge)

I think out of everyone in 12’, Sarah is the most liekable, but I will be disappointed with her if she left the Governership just to rake in the cash. Romney doesnt have a chance in hell, nor does Huckabee. And if McCain decides to run again, he will be in for a rude awakening.

But leaving a prominent position just to make cash smacks of a sell-out. I just hope she uses some of that to help other candidates who are actually conservative win some house seats in 10’. Not sure of her prospects in 12’ though.

On Facebook ... Palin right now has 904,505 supporters.

Go join Facebook like I did, just to become a supporter of Palin, help push her numbers over 1 million, and make a Libtard’s head explode.

“Going rogue from the conservative community, perhaps.”
You’re kidding right?

If you haven’t noticed the conservative community are the rogues against the political machine. The entire spirit of America has always been a rogue against the spirit of the rest of the world.

She couldn’t have chosen a better title for that book.
It’s really going to catch the eye of Generation X and those younger and those who are the ones that need the most sense pounded into them.

‘Going Rogue’ is a riff off of what folks were saying about her near the end of the campaign, when she began speaking out a little more on the campaign trail. It probably also refers to her willingness to take on her own Party in Alaska, over the corruption she suspected, and about which she was right.

But leaving a prominent position just to make cash smacks of a sell-out.

She left that prominent position, because of the continual lawsuits and ethics challenges that made it impossible to do her work. She's now free to make her comments about this country without the ankle-biters, and frankly, I hope she gets rich from this book!

She will make a lot of money, Im sure. But it puts her in a less than favorable position for a 12’ run. I have several friends who questioned if she can’t take the heat now, will she be able to with a possible Presidential run. Although she is still the best candidate at the present time, compared to the awful garbage that is Romney and Huckster.

Were you sleeping during October 2008?

Party at war as Palin 'goes rogue'

There will be accusations from the Inner Party that 'Sarah wasn't a team player in 2008'. She can't avoid that. There are issues about which you make excuses, and issues you face head on.

I have several friends who questioned if she can’t take the heat now, will she be able to with a possible Presidential run.

She didn't quit the Office of Governor because folks were saying bad things about her. She didn't have a problem with that, as she'd already said, though she was truly angry about the attacks on her family. Her problem was with the continual ethics charges and lawsuits, ALL of which were dismissed by the Courts in AK.

Even though she'd been in office for two years before being named as McCain's running mate, in all that time, she hadn't had any suits filed against her. It was only after the election that the suits started, and she recognized them for what they were, a shot across her bow to keep her from doing her job, and trying to ruin her for future political opportunities . What she realized was that a long as she stayed in the office, the suits could continue, and she would be distracted from her work as Governor, in order to fight them, not to mention the fact that it cost the State money to defend her against them. She knew that the only way to make them stop was to remove herself from office. I admire her for being willing to give up that seat of power, in order to remove that drain on the State's resources.

Love Sarah...but worry what ‘going rogue’ mightt mean. ...

This is just for you. At the end of the excerpt posted here on FR, without going to the link you can read,

The full title of the book, “Going Rogue: An American Life.”

Palin mischievously embraced the phrase “going rogue” at the end of her troubled campaign for vice president on the ticket headed by Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.)

The phrase has its roots in an Oct. 20 story by Slate's John Dickerson, with the lead: "Has Sarah Palin "gone rogue"?

It's a clever title in that it dismisses the McCrap staff that couldn't wait to stab her in the back, as well as the MSM. Shows that they never laid a hand on her.

And if one recalls her real political history she has been the true maverick standing up for the US Constitution and liberty, unlike that sad old sack that asked us to fight and then took the dive.

You’re a great FReeper counterpunch, but you’re wrong on Palin though. I’ll respectfully disagree with you here.

but I will be disappointed with her if she left the Governership just to rake in the cash.

Please get the facts and stop repeating this leftist talking point.
She resigned because she was being harassed by Obama operatives who used Alaska's powerful ethics laws against her. She got virtually nothing accomplished after the election and the bogus filings were costing the state millions of dollars.

She did the right thing by resigning - the only thing why it's "controversial" is because no one has ever heard of a politician actually putting the people ahead of their political ambitions or problems.

Those filings costed her over half a million dollars and the Dem operatives even filed a suit against her having a legal defense fund. So I don't blame her for hitting the speaking circuit and raking in the dough. She's a private citizen, hopefully for now.

Like it or not, if she enters the fray again politically she has high negatives, even among independents. I fear it will galvanize them even more, as they will attack her and the message relentlessly. I personally like her and her message is about as conservative as they come, but the left has unfortunately defined her already. Even my family and friends who really were inspired by her when she ran with McCain, are embarrassed about her. I have a co-worker who is 2nd amendment solid, can’t stand Obama and sees the garbage he is bringing, and HE even thinks she is unelectable.

I love her message and the vigor, but I dont think she really has a national chance in hades. Hopefully, she can funnel some of that money into helping the house races for 10’

Listen, I get what you are saying and I completely agree with her message and her fight. Its not a leftist talking point to say that she needed to fight and stay Governor. Sarah was doing a wonderful job, especially with the pipeline deal and Alaska needed her to stay on. Her legal defense fund was legal in every sense, just more people needed to contribute to it and fight the good fight. That didnt happen. My whole family, including my friends loved her and voted for her. Its about electability now, and she really is just mocked and derided at every turn, and its a distraction.

We need to focus on the message of conservatism and keep pushing against the liberal tide of garbage with the candidate that is most electable. And I dont mean any RINO at all. Romney and Huck and McCain can butt out!
