I’ve never understood this, although I think that a lot of women have the fantasy of seeing themselves “rescuing” some misguided soul from his awful deeds.

Or these women are sick, twisted freaks who live their violent and deranged fantasies vicariously through these death row inmates.

It's just a thought...

It’s about celebrity. These women couldn’t get a real ‘celebrity’, but they can get THIS kind.

Posh. I’ve killed millions and I cannot even get a kiss.

But you did it while wearing purple spandex. It just doesn't work that way.

I think you are correct, but I would add, for some women, this is a perfect relationship.

They get to have the romantic feelings, exchange love letters, some phone calls and visits, but without the complications of an actual physical relationship.

Obviously I am not describing a majority of women, but I think there are enough of these wounded souls out there.

OK, so some men are idiots too. :)

FWIW, my wife’s great-grandmother had five husbands over 50 years. Every one of them died as a result of digestive trouble.

This does not appear to run in the family, as I’m still around after 30+ years. :)

Just read down a list of movie plots. The perversion of them is shocking, when you really think about it.

Years ago I read Little Women, as a child. In it is a part where Alcott talks about how Jo’s mind starts to become spiritually damaged by her preoccupation with dark things as subjects for her stories.

As a Christian, I often thought of that whenever I read the bible verse, “Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on THESE things.”

Nowadays this is a foreign concept; modernists are concerned with cleaning the earth, but the idea of schooling your thoughts to keep them filled with noble things is considered puritannical and strange.

The bible talks about silly women laden with sins led away by deceitful men. There is a tendency in the nature of mankind to be fascinated by evil, and it can be a deadly character trait. Every so often the worm sticks its head out of the apple and grins.

Well duh - you have to kiss them BEFORE you kill them.

No mystery at all — evil attracts evil. The bible says sin is luring and those women are attracted to those evil acts. Its also known as projection. This satanist serial killer has quite a lot of power, continueing to lure his victims...

You are exactly right! And it's the same reason so many voted for Obama. Kiss Satan through abortion (30+ years of this demonic tool) and you can consider yourself kissed back.

"You have to feel sorry for these people as it is always going to end in death," Murphy said.

In reality, Ramirez will probably die of old age before he meets the needle on California's Death Row.

I read a true crime book about Ramirez. What a scumbag. Anyways, there was a woman on his jury who left her husband and children and went to earn her P.I. license just so she could meet with Ramirez face to face for sexual encounters.

He also got his crooked teeth repaired into a gleaming white smile on behalf of California's taxpayers.

“Every one of them died as a result of digestive trouble.”

Maybe she was just a really bad cook.

I’m just glad she kicked over before I joined the family.

My Great Granny did four, there is not a lot of family lore about her. One of my cousins gets down right snippy when I emailed her about her GGranny, I got to go West.

"Unfortunately, this rescue gene dwells in some men."

It's been dubbed (pun intended) the White Knight Syndrome

There an alternate theory, women are programmed.

When I was a Teen, late 50's early 60's, most of the fights, mating ritual, were provoked by girls looking for the badest protector to share genes with.

When I got back from Viet Nam, as a killer of men, the local Nursing School picked off most of my friends, including me. Women are programmed to seek protection and are dependent on men to give them shelter and protection when the kids come.

Can you Imagine a 125 pound Woman in a fight 250 Man when she is in foal.
