Dear MoveOn member,
Thanks for signing up for a "Big Insurance: Sick of It" rally. Over 7,000 MoveOn members gathered at rallies in 38 states today to send a powerful message that we are sick of Big Insurance standing in the way of real health care reform.
Were you able to make it to your local rally today? Click here:
Yes, I attended a rally.
No, I couldn't make it. Your feedback is criticalit helps us learn what worked well and what didn't. We read every single survey response, and use your feedback to plan our next steps together.
Also, if you took any digital photos at your event, please submit them by emailing them to sickofitphoto@moveon.org. We'll share the best photos with other MoveOn members.
We'll report back soon on how things went across the country. Thanks again for being part of a massive day of action for real health care reform.
Thanks for all you do.
Kat, Marika, Ilya, Anna, and the rest of the team

I just wonder how many local and national networks will cover this "massive" protest rally.
7,000 people in 32 states....
...there 7,000 within 10 feet of me at the 9/12!

The DC Fire Department estimates it was 32 members in 4 states.
SARAH 2012!
I was hoping you’d post that Jeff!
OK, 180 in each of the 32 states. The next question is how many rallies per state?
KOIN channel 6 in Portland, Oregon showed the anti-big insurance rally in Portland today on their noon news broadcast.
Behind the reporter was 3 people standing with signs and an older person sitting on a bench eating lunch behind them, not part of it.
Really?
7000?
No Sh!t, 7000?
Sounds like a rounding error for the Tea Party in DC.
My husband has employees who fix machines at Wellpoint in Cincinnati. They had been warned about possible protestors, but hadn’t seen any.
That’s less than 200 per rally...yet that will get coverage but a Million or more protesting taxes, has to be forced to be shown.....yep, that’s our state run fringe media.
Move on a bowel movement can’t function without a Soros rent a mob.
This one in Maine featured about 24 protesters.
And this one in Santa Ana CA drew over 100 people.
So that accounts for 130-160 I would guess.
Wow..that many huh? My, my...what are we gonna do? lol
ROFLOL! 7,000? That is the best they could do? The anti rallies had that many in different locations all over with over a million in DC!
And how many of the dedicated protesters were paid $14/hr.?
