Bunnies Bug Darwin

Rabbits are cosmopolitan, herbivorous mammals in the scientific order Lagomorpha, which includes cottontails, pikas ("conies"), and hares. Rabbits burrow and give birth to blind, naked young, whereas hares are born above ground, fully furred with eyes open. Pikas' hind limbs are only slightly longer than their forelimbs. Tooth structure is one big difference between rodents (gnawing mammals) and the lagomorphs. Both have long incisors that constantly grow. But unlike rodents, lagomorphs have additional peg-like incisors behind the first pair.

Most fossil mammals are fragmentary, sometimes containing just teeth. The enamel microstructure of various mammal teeth differs widely, but each corresponds to a certain animal kind. The various specifications that are uniquely combined to form tooth structures clearly indicate that they were specially made for their resident animals. These present tough barriers for Darwinian evolution to cross.

For example...

The article references the Eocene era:

For example, evolutionary scientists look to a late Eocene fossil dubbed Mimolagus as a possible transition to lagomorphs, even though it is known only by a few teeth.

The Eocene was from 33 to 55 million years ago.

How does that work with the 6,000 year old Earth theory?

Do not question. The earth is 6000 years old.

....and flat.

God has a sense of humor. He brings Darwin and the left down with a bunny. Funny!

GGG is descended from eodippus - a small minded, ego driven, faux religious hominid.

Well, at least he got the part about the fossil record being incomplete correct. Not exactly proof positive that “there is no evidence for rabbit (or rodent) evolution.” The author needs to go back and read his citations, and this time do it for comprehension. His contention is not supported by the science; “What we have suggests that diversification among the Lagamorpha group-all modern day hares, rabbits and pikas-may already have started by the Early Eocene...” Read that closely - lagamorph characteristics are known from the fossil record, what was found is that what became rabbits, pikas, and hares began acquiring their specific characteristics earlier than was thought. Evidence against evolution? on the contrary - scientists doing what scientists do. Rather than sitting around some office trying to play “gotcha”, they are actually working. I would also point out the author's extremely weak grasp of some really basic concepts, beginning with convergent and divergent evolution. I would suggest he crack a book about Gideon Mantell, and restart he education on paleontology.

I have rabbits always on my lawn, they are all over my neighborhood, which attracts Coyotes, which have been known to attack people.

It should be legal for me to live trap rabbits and then dispatch them and haul them out to the country and dump them, but alas it is not.

And it rests on the back of a great turtle. When it moves it causes earthquakes.

Science deniers make themselves look wholly stupid, as does the silly website where this fiction came from.

The real howl-at-the-moon science deniers are the evo-atheists like Richard Dawkins who maintain that biology is the study of super-sophisticated bio-nano machines that far surpass human-level technology, and give every appearance of having been designed, but then turn around and try to convince us that this is all just an illusion created by Darwin’s mindless natural selection god. If only the evo-atheists could see themselves the way we see them...LOL!

Dawkins is his own worst enemy.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientific_mythology

The only reason the flat earth myth continues today is because of the Darwinists repeating it so often as if it were fact. There’s no basis for it.

Hmmm, that must make it a lie.

Does that mean that darwinists are *Liars for Darwin* just like creationists are so often accused of being *Liars for the Lord*?

It’s really rather pathetic that Darwinists have to lie so much about what creationists believe in order to gain adherents.

If the ToE is so weak that darwinists have to resort to those kind of tactics, it sure doesn’t say much for the integrity or veracity of the ToE. Surely a scientific theory should be able to stand on its own without its adherents resorting to those kind of tactics.

Gaining support for something by disparaging the other is pretty lame.

I was being funny. I don’t believe in anything. In fact - I don’t think you’re real. You would have to prove it to me and I wouldn’t accept any proof from you because you’re not real. Things are very simple in my world.

“Bunnies aren’t just cute like everybody supposes,
They’ve got them hoppy legs and twitchy little noses.
And what’s with all the carrots?
What do they need such good eyesight for anyway?
Bunnies, bunnies it must be bunnies!”

And you could fall right off the edge. All the scientists said so, who was that religious nut thinking he could sail “around” it?
