....Barack Obama said on Sunday he would push world leaders this week for a reshaping of the global economy in response to the deepest financial crisis in decades.
...Obama said the U.S. economy was recovering, even if unemployment remained high, and now was the time to rebalance the global economy after decades of U.S. over-consumption

And what is in 0bama’s background to make him an authority on economics?
He has no background. A damned puppet for Soros.
over consumption.
this from the imbecile who was whining about the price of arugula
Churchill: The inherent vice of capitalism is the uneven division of blessings. The inherent virtue of socialism is the equal division of misery!
ARRRRGGGGHHHHHHHHH.....PLEASE bring back the adults!
“Obama said the U.S. economy was recovering, even if unemployment remained high, and now was the time to rebalance the global economy after decades of U.S. over-consumption”
There it is folks. Proof the 1st idiot is a Marxist. We are to be taken down to our “rightful place” no longer to be the driver and innovator of the world economy.
I wonder why the countries that produce would schlep to a has-been city in a has-been country that’s printing money like there’s no tomorrow. G19?
Look these countries are going to do what is in their own self interest and will not pay Obummer any attention at all or even think about what he wants them to do. They all see his polling numbers are plummeting and going into the toilet so all the leaders of these other foreign countries are going to be a lot more concerned of the financial health and welfare of their own countries and will not listen to Obummer. They will probably nod politely toward him and then go do precisely what THEY want to do, not what Obummer wants.
Gee...ya think?
Like during the campaign, he's articulating conservative points...only problem is, he's not acting that way--we also can't go back to the era where we're spending so much more than we produce, but that includes the government, not just individuals.
In Pittsburgh, the first of several expected anti-G20 protest marches took place with hundreds of demonstrators demanding governments create more jobs by spending more money on public works.
"(This) is a jobless recovery and there is the prospect of a permanent high unemployment economy." said Larry Holmes, of protest organizers Bail Out the People Movement.
Mr. Holmes is correct in his assessment, but not in the proposed "solution." "Bail Out the People" pushes for making American business uncompetitive, leading them into bankruptcy or sale to foreign interests. Good ol' Mumia is a big fan of theirs, issuing a statement for them. Wonderful crowd.
Stuff it Bammy.
What background is required to express the idea that it's not a good idea to spend more than one produces?
And then, borrow on credit well beyond our needs.
Exactly.
We can beg China to act as irresponsibly as the US has done for so long, but why should they comply...they might want us as a market, but they know America is too irresponsible to stop sinking itself.
We bought into the Ponzi scheme...begging them to let us out of it isn't going to work.
If the US ever declares bankruptcy or defaults on its monetary obligations to foreigners, what country will ever trust us for borrowing money from them ever again? Nil, I dare say.
In fact, I would be surprised if ANY country loans us any money anymore.
What the hell is he talking about?
I swear -- Hussein hates America.
Uh, yeah...
And the consumers borrow money to buy those goods they consume. And the government borrows and burdens taxpayers to maintain its wasteful ways.
