From this profoundly warped announcement (via ABC who engages in daily, early-morning information huddles with the Obama “White House”) from ACORN itself, it’s announced that ACORN is, uhh, going to “investigate” ACORN, with this group of Lefties-at-hire to go onto the media-stage and do the “Let’s Investigate” routine:
In a press release, ACORN CEO Bertha Lewis says, that as “a result of the indefensible action of a handful of our employees,” the group will immediately stop accepting anyone into ACORN office for service programs, will conduct in-service training of staff, and begin an audit “to review all of the systems and processes called into question by the videos,” to be conducted by the group’s Independent Advisory Council.
The Council includes many prominent Democrats, including the man who helped President Obama Transition Team, John Podesta, President and CEO of the Center for American Progress; former Maryland Lt. Gov. Kathleen Kennedy Townsend; Andrew Stern, International President of the Service Employees International Union; and former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Henry Cisneros.
The startling hoist of reactions in the last week from ACORN about it’s own organization: first it was denial (”…nothing wrong”), then another day later employees were fired (only those captured so engaged in ACORN-ish crime and embracing of such crime as to project ideas, they were fired but ACORN avoided saying there was anything wrong), then, immediately afterward, ACORN announced they “were shocked, this is so unusual” to more ACORN crime-and-ghastly behaviors captured on more video, then — all this in only a few days — an investigation, an investigation now but with a stacked panel of “investigators.”
Hold the laughter briefly and read this:
“ACORN will work with its advisory council, which includes prominent supporters of President Barack Obama, such as John Podesta, president of the nonprofit Center for American Progress, and Andrew Stern, president of the Service Employees International Union, to name an independent auditor and investigator, ACORN chief executive Bertha Lewis said in a written statement.
Barack Obama, after spending years “community organizing” with and for ACORN (legal advisor, conducted “training workshops” and coached ACORN employees), from his newfound position —( now that Obama’s in the Presidency ) — and now that ACORN has been captured on tape and on video engaged in and urging on the crime that they do, now “the Obama ‘White House’” doesn’t know, so Press Secretary Robert Gibbs says. They are, so Gibbs says at present, they are, uhh, they don’t know what’s-what, who…likely we’ll start hearing very soon that it’s all “a distraction,” this “ACORN stuff…”
Gibbs said he was not sure whether the president would ask Democrats to pull back from any campaign-year collaboration with the group.
“I don’t know that I’ve had any discussion with him about that,” Gibbs said.
From (biggovernment.com, the video reports) that decidedly exposed ACORN engaged in and willingly offering to assist crime, including, horribly, child prostitution and illegal immigration; one ACORN employee also captured on-tape admitting to having committed murder.

Seems ACORN said last fall they were doing an internal investigation and clean up because of all the voting registration irregularities that occurred in almost every state.
There are rumors of even more tapes?
The single, best thing that has come out of this...is that the entire world has seen how the mainstream media ducks and dodges, and plays hide the story for their friends.
No one can now doubt that ABCBSNBCNNPRPBS are in the tank for the Messiah.
We know there are more tapes. Breitbart said there are more but they want to give the media a chance to catch up. I suspect we’ll see more within a week.
Breitbart also has something different he apparently wants to release on Michael Savage this week.

Believe me I have relatives that have blinders on so long and so thick, well … you just couldn’t imagine!

Yeah, why not just let bank robbers arrest themselves and run their own investigation. I bet we would never have a conviction for bank robbery or even a trial.
The media may catch up on excuses based on what's shown to date but they won't catch up on original investigating. I'm hoping that the next tape or two catches the media off guard again i.e. the tapes go in a bit of a different direction.

There has been such a rapid succession of tapes that I fear that they will all simply get conflated into ONE in the mind of the public.
To maximize damage I think they should freeze it for 3 weeks or so, in order to let the talk die down completely, and THEN re-launch some really taudry stuff and bring it up all over again.
In this way people will get the mosquito/fly effect...the blasted annoyance just keeps buzzing back again and again to the same itchy spot on your elbow, denying you any relief.
I have very high confidence that if we 12-guage this zombie all at once in the chest, he’s going to flop around a bit, and then get up again when we’re empty with nothing to reload.

The Senate and the House can both vote for defunding, but defunding is an attachment to a bill; not a bill itself! Once the bill reaches Conference between the House and Senate defunding can disappear. Once it disappears the bill cannot be amended, and the networks will never report it missing and the no one will never think it gone until it's too late. Once the bill is signed that the defunding was once attached to then ACORN will have officially gotten away with it!
