I want pickles to be outlawed...

Dang, good catch. Okay, no breathing, and no pickles. Enough's enough.

Drive Thrus.

Think of the millions of gallons saved if we didn’t have cars idling in drivethru lines.

Exactly! WTF...?!!!

Color me crazy, but did the Feds not allow this crap into our country in the first place? Hey D.C., your flipping “loopy “...don’t you all have better things to do with your time than to harass Grandma getting rid of some junk for a few pennies?

Sorry for the rough language, but holy smokes, this is absolutly ridiculous!

I attended a Chicago CPSC seminar once with a Corporate Safety Manager. The audience was packed with plaintiff tort attorneys, and the CPSC reps knew several by their first names. I learned all I needed to know about the CPSC.

As much as I hate to say it, it was George W. Bush that signed this into law last year. Another occasion where he could not find his VETO pen.

How do democrats keep pissing off every group of people and still get elected?

Because their balance of power lies with those who, if I may put it delicately, are not in a position to object.

[...] extensive research reveals that nearly every single American who ate a pickle before the year 1900 is now dead.

And the latest environmental models suggest strongly that everyone who has eaten a pickle since 1900 will eventually be, also.

Sad thing is, one of ours “George W. Bush” could of stopped it. It was Bush that signed it into law, not Obama. Not to say Obama would not of done the same thing, but Bush could of stopped it, and brought attention to its silliness.

The Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act, which bans the sale of dangerous products on the secondhand market, went into effect in February of 2009 under President George W. Bush.

Hold on now... the root of the problem lies with the cucumber. You can’t ban pickles and just completely ignore the cucumber.

Yep. Google Bush & Resale Round-up and see the archived news stories when he signed it. I loved Bush at times, but his last four years not being able to locate a VETO pen really makes me glad he is gone. Lets hope the next GOP President wises up.

When Lawn Darts are outlawed, only outlaws will have lawn darts... you criminal you...

I prefer to think of them as random impact lawn aerators... they are not a toy, they are a lawn tool.

Well, finally government is doing something to protect the consumer from unscrupulous yard sale people!

I recently bought a lawnmower at a yard sale for $2.50 and it wouldn't even start*! Now Team Obama must turn its fire of righteousness on thrift shops, antique shoppes, and used car dealers.

My son bought a used car from an unscrupulous dealer and it turned out to have many small parts on it that a child could easily (or not so easily) actually ingest ... or get stuck in a nostril!

I have the feeling that single moms, children, members of federally protected minority species, gays (and lesbians), and folks (always say folks) with special needs are most harmed by these disturbing trends.

I was talking to a guy from Honduras about this and he suggests that we make Obama President for Life, so we can finally get a handle on this.

*The SOB didn't tell me it was a push mower. There must be a law!

But what is a cucumber? It’s just a pickle who hasn’t been mugged yet.

That’s the nub, isn’t it.

The Republicans gave up even the ghosts of their principles.

Next Gop President? My chit’s on President Petraeus.

Like Eisenhower, and Grant, a former general that the country can coalesce around.
