Last night Glen Beck began referring to the Main Stream Media as the Fringe Media. Based upon the latest Cable News ratings shown below, FNC has captured 50% of the viewing audience and if we can make it 51% the MSM will truly be the fringe.

I think it would be a very affective tactic if everyone on Free Republic followed Glen’s lead and began to refer to the MSM as the Fringe Media. Imagine the stigma they would have to deal with if they were no longer known as the “Main Stream”.

They are the DNC media. They are by survey almost 100% Democrat in terms of the work force, 100% Democrat in terms of ownership, and they follow the Democrat line and cover for Democrats almost 100% of the time. Its beyond that though, the press is a key part of the DNC leadership and a key client group within the DNC. Both at the same time.
The joke isn’t that they are biased, the joke is that decade after decade we get our noses out of joint when we get lambasted yet again. What do you think? They’re Democrats, each and every one of them.
So the answer is to develop your own sources of information; find sources you trust, and turn the DNC propaganda off.
And as it happens, thats whats finally happening to them. Newspapers are crashing, the alphabet networks are all running aground. You’d think they could do a little math; half the electorate is represented by one network, Fox (with all its blemishes its the only one that even tries to be objective). The left half of the electorate is pursued by all the rest, all of whom must split that 50% into tiny market shares between them.
They are sinking themselves. All they have to do to thrive is to make an attempt at objectivity and they’ll have the whole 100% as their marketplace instead of some tiny percentage of a percentage. They can’t, though, because they are DNC.

But “State Run” only works when the Democrats are in power. I would call them the “Leftist Media,” because that’s what they are. They will skew everything to the Left.
Don’t forget the nightly marxist TV media still gets >18 million so we still have a long way to go to reach that coverage. Thankfully, Rush, Glenn, Sen help to balance out the fringe TV networks.
