First of all, I reject the idea that the 'birther' campaign is motivated by racism. There may be racism among it, but there are legitimate questions about the documentation of Obama's birth certificate. I'm sorry, I've been following this closely from the start. To assume that all those signs about the birth controversy were motivated by racism, that is simply wrong. She continued, explaining she first came on the scene in the 1990s and has dealt with cries of sexism and homophobia, calling such battle cries "emotional" triggers.

Paglia said the fact there was little racism in the campaign against Obama is evidenced by the fact he "was elected by white people."

Criticism of Obama, instead, is coming because of the "strategic failures he is making in pushing this very important issue of health care reform."

According to the Washington Independent, the exchange was "compelling."

Paglia, a professor of humanities and media studies at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and Salon.com columnist, earlier wrote, "Yes, there were ambiguities about Obama's birth certificate that have never been satisfactorily resolved. And the embargo on Obama's educational records remains troubling."

This really is two puzzles:

1. Why won’t Obama release so much information.

2. Why since he has put them under attack hasn’t the CIA found some of this information and leaked it to the press. [I know they would have to leak it to FNC to actually have someone air it.]

There was something on the list when I lifted it that I was challenged on and took off when shown that it was rather iffy. But then I added #22 when I saw someone else mention it. The list remains substantial and raises a large black cloud over 0bama's Presidency. And character.

The only person that has rattled off that list on air, that I know of, is Rusty Humpries. I don’t know why Glenn Beck doesn’t do it.....It’s a FACT that these records have not been released or have been scrubed. It’s a MONUMENTAL story no matter how you look at it.....

I think it may be building up to a point where those things become more relevant to people who aren’t so politically informed. A history of known actions is being laid down every day of his administration. That will make his lack of a previous history become more interesting.

It wouldn't surprise me if Obama got all As at Columbia. Many good schools give As out like candy, especially if the students are “people of color” who contribute to class discussions.

If so this is the type that would have debated William F. Buckley on Firing Line and maybe even went out to dinner with them and like Buckley would even question their own side.

In regard to the List, I would also like to see Obama’s application and verification of his Illinois Law License.
As far as I can tell, he never actually represented any of his clients in court, which casts some doubt on whether he actually was licensed or not, IMHO.

She certainly does. I like reading her articles because she will be fair and strives to ferret out the truth. Anyone with any knowledge about how things work or anyone who takes a look at the simple requirements in one’s own life has to say that something stinks about the birth certificate issue and about those college records which are sealed away out of public sight, not to mention the 800 million or whatever has been spent not to produce a valid $12 document.

He's listed as a member of the Bar in Illinois.

He was ACORN's lead attorney in Motor Voter cases, although I haven't researched the cases and don't know if he appeared.

The real mystery about his bar app is why he didn't list the "Barry Soetoro" alias, by which he was known for some years. He also neglected to mention "Drug Use," which he highlighted in his official bio. He also left out parking violations, etc. which weren't paid until his candidacy.

Not good.
