Because she was born in Kenya and lied about it?
His lapsed, hers was rescinded by the bar but in surrendering it, both she and the bar agreed to a non-disclosure that is still in force.
My guess - and this is just a guess - is that they didn’t keep up with continuing educatiopn requirements and therefore are no longer on the list of “active” attorneys.
This is the innocuous explanation. If there are others, I’m sure someone in the new media will investigate further.
I believe so. Unfortunately “someone” took a great care to make unavailable all records re why it was done.
Was it revoked- or did she decide (for whatever reason) not to renew it?

That’s my guess as well.
When I worked for lawyers, certain repeat offenders were constantly hounding me about finding them continuing education opportunities.
Hel-LO! I’m a marketer. I am not a lawyer. How on earth would I know where to find what YOU need? (Which sort of explains why I no longer work for lawyers. That, and as a group they tend to suck.)
And at least in Texas, you can get CLE credit for reading American Lawyer and other such fluff. I mean, really, it’s not THAT hard.
Yup. I have spent time among lawyers as well (”some of my best friends are lawyers!”) and the common “personality” traits can be somewhat difficult to deal with.
Like her hospital job it was probably something she never really intended to work at. I will admit in the hospital job she was responsible for throwing poor people under the bus.
Michelle? There is no documentation to show that Barack is an American, that he ever graduated from college or law school, or that he ever passed the bar. All records have been sealed.
You mean why did she petition the court to de-activate her license?
Usually it’s because people don’t want to pay the Bar dues when they are not practicing.
I will stipulate to some lawyers being personally awesome - my buddy Hank, for example, and my buddy Jim the Freak. Not to mention Special Ed my co-worker.
But yep - the profession draws a certain personality type, doesn’t it?
