A 40-year-old man didnt fare very well after a Kapowsin bartender refused to serve him more alcohol, according to Pierce County sheriffs deputies.
As the man walked out of the Kapowsin Tavern on Saturday, he pulled a gun and pointed it at the bartender, deputies said. A witness threw a pool ball, hitting the man in the back of the head, court documents state.
Kevin J. Valentine now faces second-degree assault charges. Court documents gave this account:
The bartender told deputies Valentine got upset after she refused to serve him more alcohol because he was already drunk. She said he threw a glass into a cooler behind the bar and fell off his stool.
Valentine started to walk out but stopped at the door, pulled a gun from his waistband and pointed it at the bartender. The witness told deputies he saw Valentine pull the gun and then clocked him with a pool ball.
When deputies arrived, Valentine was lying on the ground in front of the bar, bleeding from a cut on the back of his head.
Defendant claimed he had been shot in the head, charging documents state. He was slurring his words, reeked of alcohol and had very red watery eyes. He was obviously intoxicated.
The deputies found a loaded gun on Valentine.

The deputies found a loaded gun on Valentine. You mean to tell me that after knocking him out, they didn't take his gun?

Behind the 8 ball! I was just wondering what color the pool ball was. After all, Everything is about Race now. So, if a non-Obamabot threw an 8-ball at a drunk ObamaBot, would that be racist? A hate-crime? Would the color of the pool ball thrown be an important factor in determining the length of the prison sentence of the thrower?
Don't snicker, people. These are very, VERY important questions in this 'Post-Racial America'. After all, Jimmy Carter knows what he's talking about.

Wasn’t there a scene like this in a Chuck Norris film?
IIRC Clint Eastwood’s character throws the ball which knocks our hero out?

I was just wondering what color the pool ball was Unless it was the cue ball (white) then by rule he committed a scratch and would lose his turn.
