I disagree with Saunders’s statement that conservatives should “be aware” of libs going around taping statements. That’s exactly what has been going for many decades. How is taping people different from interviewing people at some political rally and taking away a few outrageous statements? The libs do that all the time. The difference us, of course, ACORN is a political organization dedicated to leftist causes and not some individuals showing up at a rally.

She's not really making much sense with that conclusion. If she fancies herself a journalist, she might fancy Beck's unorthodox reporting to be below her lofty standards.
The problem Saunders should consider is that this may be the only type of reporting -- sensationalism -- that could make a dent in a that sacred cow of Congress, ACORN. There's been oceans of words written about their corruption in every area -- tax evasion, embezzlement, violent tactics, illegal use of federal money, just to name a few -- and nothing of any significance has been done to halt that corruption.
This -- visually candid proof of the corruption -- might yield real results.
Of course it was all a lie, fantasy about what she would have liked to have done.

Fringe Socialist Media. Glen Beck used it yesterday since the media can no longer be called “Mainstream” with a straight face.
