Should have whooped this guy a whole lot worse. Restrained would not have been the optimum word.

Do not want to critique your use of the phraase ‘beaten to a pulp’ but in South La, this would be considered on ‘a brush with the law.’ Pulp is what comes out of a masher - think Jack LaLane and a juicing machine or a small paper mill.
