I voted by sending Joe Wilson a check today...
He should be treated with the same respect that democrats gave GWB during addresses to congress.
Rep. Wilson already apologized for the outburst. This shows he has more class than any of the numerous Democrats that insulted former President Bush on more than one occasion and never offered an apology.
Rep. Wilson may have been wrong to interrupt the speech that way, but you have to cut him some slack. He was disruptive, but he wasn't wrong. obama was in his house, lying through his teeth to Congress and the American public.
The whole issue raises the question, how do you deal with 'Rat indiscretions of the past, such as their trooping down to Nicaragua to treat (illegally) with Red Danny Ortega, while President Reagan was opposing Ortega's Communist regime as a Soviet beachhead in the New World?
Such as, as you pointed out, their formal abuse of the House rules and simple decorum during past SOTU's given by Republican Presidents? They are hypocrites, but if we totally exonerate this congressman, so are we. (Which is what the 'Rats want.)
But Obama will still be a liar on wheels.
