You have to be kidding me. Jerry Brown was governor of CA once before and he was not called ‘Honest Brown”.

He lost the goverorship, hung around a while and then tried for President. He didn’t go very far with that, so he hung around some more and worked his way back into politics as Mayor of Oakland.

By the time that fiasco ended, I had moved and was shocked to learn that he had won an election for Atty. General. I don’t know what he did to “cleanse” his name after his mayorial job, but whatever it was, it had to be good.

Having him as Governor again would be almost as enjoyable as having Davis for a third term!
