Here is a poll question as to whom Freepers prefer to be the POTUS. The list is fairly extensive, but even at that there will be those who's choice is not listed. It does however have the usual suspects and category for other.

Interesting thing about this poll is John McCain is not on the list. Doe anyone really think he will even attempt top run?

Never said a word about her brain.

My comment was against the worship of her.

Take Limbaugh for example.. he’s brilliant but I continually bash those who worship him.

It’s just a thing that bothers me.

In my perfect world, Duncan Hunter would be president. He got my vote.

With earned fame comes a lot of adulation. She hasn’t developed a swelled head, which is a very good sign.

Right now, I'd choose Palin/Jindal or Palin/Perry

I kind of agree with you, but I also like Haley Barbour. I am really surprised no one has picked him. I like Sarah, but I would like to see a Sarah/Barbour ticket. It would also link the North and the South in a very string ticket.

Maybe tomorrow I will put up a poll as to what P/VP ticket Freepers would like to see.

No specific picks, but I have a few in mind. Offhand, Jim DeMint and Duncan Hunter are good choices IMHO. Sarah Palin might be - she certainly has the right politics.

Some complain that Jindal would not meet the older standard for “natural born citizen” (as if Obama has met ANY standard for it). Jindal is a policy wonk. He’d be a good flywheel to Palin’s sparkplug.

DeMint/Hunter
Hunter/DeMint

(I won’t support any candidate who even hints at comprehensive immigration reform/path to citizenship = amnesty)

Barbour would be fine with me, too! I’d just like the ticket to consist of two conservative governors with the most proven social and fiscal conservative on the top.

Barbour is mushy about Kelo-type issues.

Well, I reckon we’ll have to see how all this birther stuff pans out and what affect it would have on Jindal.

No one’s perfect and I have no idea if these guys would even consider running, but John Hoeven (gov of ND), Mitch Daniels and agree on Haley Barbour.

Heck, I even make graphics for her.

It's just that some of the smarmy posts I read are a little
too worshipful. And the way folks dog-pile anyone who fails
to kneel in the Sarah temple is telling also. It's sick.

Reminds me of how the leftards acted towards Obama.

Ideological polarity is moot. Idolization is sick.

Virtually all would, if pressed, say yes there is a way for an illegal immigrant to get to citizenship. Very few want to make the act of having come unwelcomed a lifelong disqualifier for citizenship.

He made union ties one of his big campaign issues.

So did Reagan and at a huge price. He agreed to call off the Justice Department's wholesale investigations into racketeering in the Teamsters in favor of a much narrower focus on individual labor leaders.
