These two are the faces of liberal intellectual muscle in the world we live in today, giants, as it were. One, a very senior broadcast journalist and host of his networks nightly news show, and the other, a former president and nobel prize winning statesman.
Mr Gibsons main claim to fame to date was his smirkingly condescending interview with a sitting governor and vice presidential candidate just about a year ago, a hatchet job if I've ever seen one. And, just yesterday, when asked about potentially the biggest political scandal since Watergate, (on a talk radio show no less), his response was...ignorance??? How is this possible? This is the liberal brain trust.
Mr Carter, you gotta love him, was a president and a statesman, but his recent pro palestinian tirades have made him persona-non-grata with our only real ally in the mid-east. And now, let's pour some gas on the race fires in this country too.
These are the tips of the liberal spears, the cutting edge. They look pretty dull to me.
MSM is not out there to inform people of whats going on, its there to misinform the sheeple. Who else watches the network news?
No sir, we do not have to “love” Jimmy Carter because he was a President. Those of us who lived through that incredibly inept administration know the only good thing he did for America was aiding in the election of the great Ronald Reagan.
I think we need to stop using Main Stream Media as discussed on Fox the other day. MSM is anything but Main Stream. Fox would be Main Stream if you look at the ratings.
Charlie Gibson is just a$$ with his comments on ACORN.. he didn’t know anything about it and then said that kind of news should be on the cable channels.
Cater, what can you say. He’s the stuff that comes out of Charlie Gibson’s a$$. Bin Laden says Carter’s book “Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid” is one of his top 3 books and should be read by all.. there’s a recommendation you can be proud of.
As they themselves say, it's a show, a SHOW. The news is the media. They put it on to get viewers (most of which are robotic in viewing, due to historic viewing at the time slot).
The more viewers, the more money they can get from advertisers.
As Gibson said, he doesn't even know about the Acorn stuff. THIS is a source of news for people?
He's so ill informed that he can't even make the weekend media "I'm a Newsperson" shows.
Grampa Dave has suggested ODM (Old, Dying Media).
Gibson is just going through the motions. 20 years ago he was doing a boring morning show wanting to do news. Now he’s too old to enjoy it.
How about WSM = Waste Stream Media?
Or, he's realizing how much of a putz and puppet he was and is? I'd say that his proclamation of his lack of knowledge about ACORN is telling of him and News. (?)
WE know more about ACORN than he does! ...Gibs0n
He really is a news reader.
RSS = really savory soup
(here's your lunch Mr Gibson, don't forget your napkin, that's a good boy, My, don't you look intelligent today!)
I have read that Jimmy supposedly has the highest IQ of any US President ever. I have never heard him say anything or seen him do anything to convince me that this is true however. This most recent bit about the “you lie” comment being racist is a prime example of that. Yes Jimmy, racism is alive and well in America. You need look no further than your bathroom mirror to find it in fact. The fact remains however, calling the President a liar wasn’t racist, it was accurate. Illegal aliens currently receive free healthcare and,one way or another, they will continue to receive free healthcare under the new plan. I know it, you know it, Joe Wilson knows it, and everybody else knows it so please quit obfuscating the subject with your cries of racism as it is clearly nothing more than a distraction from this fact.
The combined intellectual firepower of Charlie Gibson and Jimmy Carter would make a kid’s cap gun look like a Trident D-5 missile.
Now theres 2 real winners.
I was just wondering if it would be possible to sue some of these so-called journalists for incompetence?
“was a president and a statesman”
Ok, technically he was president, but “statesman?” That’s quite a stretch.
Well, he was elected but fell far from being a statesman. The only reason he is cheering is that he will no longer be considered as the worst POTUS ever. See my tagline.
