The 88 outspoken pro-lifers peacefully walked onto Notre Dames campus in May to be the voice of the unborn when pro-abortion president Obama was honored there and were arrested for trespassing. Among those arrested were Fr. Norman Weslin, several Catholic nuns, Norma McCorvey, the Jane Roe of Roe v. Wade, and Ambassador Alan Keyes.

Lifesitenews.com reports:
While witnesses say pro-Obama protesters were allowed to roam free, the arrested individuals were singled out for displaying any pro-life message -- including slogans on the sanctity of life, photographs of aborted children, a large wooden cross, and images of Mary. The double standard is rather shocking, isnt it?
Notre Dame sickens me. I suggest they do what they support and have late term abortions on the 50 yard line during halftime “entertainment” with the “Fighting Irish” vermin. The school sickens me.
The alumni should be all over this faux Catholic school.
Scum school & fake Catholics.
Sent an email and asked them to drop the charges or change the name of the University to “Hope and Change University, and we know how well that worked.”
Catholics deserve better !
Catholic priest who has dedicated his priestly life to defending unborn and going to jail for civil disobedience was arrested for carrying Christ’s cross onto the campus of Notre Dame.

“A nation that kills its own children is a nation without hope.”
John Paul II
.....A nation that kills its own children is a nation without hope.....
A Catholic Church that arrests priests for carrying a cross is not a Catholic church
The big question should remain, “Should the administration of Notre Dame be reorganized to reassure Catholic parents that the alma mater to which they are committing their children is a responsible institution, and not a den of iniquity?”
The only way for this to be done is with an audit sponsored by the church, much like the audit being conducted with the non-cloistered nuns of America. Depending on the results of that audit, it is without a doubt that American Catholics would welcome the audit being expanded to other Catholic institutions.
I think a campaign to force Notre Dame to stop using “fighting Irish” because Ireland is a Catholic country where abortion is not legal (except to save the life of the mother, which is an extremely rare situation) should be undertaken.
ND’s name should be changed to Fighting Abortionists.
The alumni should have clipped ND’s wings a long time ago on this issue. All they care about is the ball teams.
The pressure has to come from the alumni and Rome. The school is a disgrace.
