Obviously, the "main stream" media are hard of hearing and seeing. About 2 million mad-as-hell taxpayers assembling in Washington, D.C. for the largest-ever (most well-behaved ever, most respectful ever) protest did not make it onto their radar screens (or our TV screens).
They need our help. Maybe we cannot repeat an assembly of 2 million mad-as-hell taxpaying patriots in one place, but surely those who longed to go and couldn't would love to be a part of Operation "Can You Hear Us Now?" I'll bet for every one patriot who went to D.C. there are 10-20 more who wished they could have been there as well.
Well my friends, HAVE I GOT A PLAN FOR YOU...
(Excerpt) Read more at operationcanyouhearusnow.com ...
I’m in, pinger me with plans.
Love it. Plenty of affiliates everywhere!
I’m up for it...NY Times building - I think W. 43rd St. in Manhattan. Anybody want to go???
And spread the pictures of the event out across the web and through your email contacts.
Trees ARE falling in the woods.
I can’t make NY, located in FL, but we have alot of affiliates here. Miami, Orlando, WPB, Tampa. NY would probably be more fun though!
I linked the article about the march on my facebook page. I have several liberal friends who I am sure saw it. Hee hee
Yesterday on FNC, Bernie Goldberg suggested that we quit referring to the legacy media as the “main-stream-media”. He commented that they are anything but “main-stream”. I heartily agree.
The folks that marched on DC and attend town-halls are “main-stream” and the legacy media refuses to give them any real acknowledgment, understates their numbers, and concentrates on fringe elements that they can exploit negatively.
Calling the LATimes, NYTimes, WashPost, CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN the MSM gives them an undeserved status and more deference than they warrant.
It’s about time ... target the alphabet media headquarters and the Communist News network and MSLSD as well. Be boisterous but non-violent. Make it a point to be seen and interviewed. However, if interviewed stay on topic ... the topics are ... media non-coverage and bias ... and then maybe limited government, taxes, and health care ... DO NOT discuss fringe topics especially ones that can be used to label the members of the movement “wackoos”. KEEP religion and Darwinism out of it. Remember ... besides attempting to drawing attention to the problems ...we are also demonstrating to gain support from the independents and blue dog dems. References to subjects like religion will turn them off.
Thanks for posting!! I intended to send email to Beck suggesting this...but, as this site proposes, we can do it on our own.
Unfortunately, the only newspaper in my area is disgracefully and obviously biased and is a great candidate for a ‘Can you hear me now’ rally.
Liberal Media is the head of the snake and needs to be cut off. Media is the lifeblood of the marxists.
Two marks!!!!
I think there will be an explosion of “closet” conservatives on social network sites so dominated by the ould and brash left.
Keep up the priestly and noble fight, diamond family warriors!
This is a terrific idea.
Too bad they chose a Wed:
1. Most people that would participate in this are working on Wed.
2. A lot of people that would participate in this are in church Wed night.
What is the significance of Wednesday, Oct 14th?
I agree with Goldberg that the alphabet soup of network TV is no longer mainstream. However, rather than call them by euphemisms why not call what the are: Marxist demrat shill media.
We have allowed the left to call themselves anything but commies for years. To wit: Progressive, liberal, socialist and left. Time call a spade a spade.
Great sign!
Great idea....don’t forget...a good organizing tool here at Free Republic is your home State page. Easier to meet up with other freepers that way. Hopefully this information has made it to the local chapters of 9.12 project.
Yes, lefty. Let’s make it reality. Let’s chat offline.
