Evening TAS and LUV. We had our first rain in a very long time last night and this morning. I don’t know the amount, but everything was soaked pretty well. We didn’t expect it, so I didn’t get up and clean out the gutters this past weekend. I guess I know what I’ll be doing next weekend though.

Yep, that’s what my gutters look like too. I don’t know who the smart one was who decided to leave the three digger pines standing on the south side of this house. I’ve also decided to clean up the years and years of pine needles that are approximately 18 inches deep on that side of the house. The fire hazard they represent scares me.

An onerous task

We don’t even have a pine tree...our neighbor was “kind” enough to plant one right next to the fence. *sigh*

So, we get all the needles and the huge roots have messed up the fence as well.

Oh, well, what do ya do! The current neighbors had nothing to do with it, so we have to get a new section of fence when we can.
