As many as one million people flooded into Washington for a massive rally organised by conservatives claiming that President Obama is driving America towards socialism.

The size of the crowd - by far the biggest protest since the president took office in January - shocked the White House.

Can some explain why a British newspaper covers such a important US event so much better than any of the US media? including FOX????

Because the Brits aren’t part of the Obama propoganda machine, yet and FOX is afraid to draw attention to itself.

I guess they don’t quite so much have the fear of being labeled “racist.”

Now I see why all of those detention camps are being built. Next time the protesters will be ARMED.

Pass the word on...we left the National Mall in pristine condition; unlike the Greenies at the Obama Infatuation who left behind tons and tons of garbage.

I’ve heard the theory that 0bama hates the Brits and is treating them so badly because of their past African colonialism.

Because the Brits, unlike every single US media outlet, do not just rip and rewrite the Associated Press wire story. AP is the poison in the US information well. They are a wholly owned subsidiary of the Democrat National Committee so everything reported in US is strained thru the filter of the Asso Propagandists world view.

Why did I hardly even hear about this? Where was FOX this weekend?

This really bothers me that FOX spent the entire weekend seemingly dodging this huge news story. Why was it not on live TV 24/7 like it would have if this were a Leftist protest?

What are you talking about?

Fox News had Griff Jenkins cover the Tea Party Express hitting 35 cities across America, starting Aug 28th!

Fox News covered the Tea Party protest in WashDC on Saturday. Glenn Beck spent 2 hours, 1pm-3pm edt, hosting a show that covered the Tea Party protest in WashDC on Saturday.

Unlike CBS and NBC, which gave the Tea Party protest a 2-4 minute segment each. Fox gave the Tea Party protest a significant amount of coverage. As did CSPAN.

Get real!

Because the Soetoro administration gave the Brits a bunch of DVD's that were the wrong region.

Well that was my perception.

All I can say is they had Micheal Jackson on literally 24/7 and I think the tea party is just a bit more important.

I just really expected MORE coverage.

>>>>>Well that was my perception.

My perception is, you didn't watch Fox News on Saturday. Either that, or you're trolling for trouble.

Again. Fox covered the Tea Party protest for hours on Saturday. Beck spent 2-hours covering the protests. I know, I watched it. From Aug 28 through Saturday Sept 12, Griff Jenkins covered the 35 city Tea Party protests. Jenkins reported on the Tea Party's on Fox evening news shows --- The Factor, Hannity, Van Sustern's On the Record, along with other shows on a daily basis.

If you want to trash CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN and others in the liberal media for not covering the Tea Party protest, fine. Go for it. But to criticize Fox News is plain dumb!

Well I said that was my perception and yes I did not watch as much Fox as normal this weekend.

I post here quite frequently so you really need to back off asap on the trolling comment.

That link is mis-representing an aerial shot of the Promise Keepers rally several years ago as being a shot from 9/12. I’ve seen that picture being mis-represented on a lot of sites. Does anyone have a REAL aerial shot of this past Saturday?

LOL You just admitted you didn’t even watch Fox on Saturday. So you don’t know what you’re talking about and are wrongly critizing Fox News. I call that trolling for trouble, bucko.

Fact. Fox News did a good job covering and reporting on the Tea Party protests.

Btw, I will back off nothing.
