Pittsburgh will host the United States premiere of "Capitalism: A Love Story" tonight for union workers attending the AFL-CIO Convention, with filmmaker Michael Moore in attendance.
The documentary, about the economic crash and its roots on Wall Street, is due to open in Pittsburgh and nationwide Oct. 2.
Moore is planning to participate in a 6 p.m. press conference at the David L. Lawrence Center before leading a march of union workers down Fort Duquesne Boulevard to the Byham Theater, where the film is scheduled to be screened at 7.
Oscar-winner Moore is known for such controversial documentaries as "Roger & Me," "Bowling for Columbine" and "Sicko."
On his Web site, michaelmoore.com, the filmmaker describes "Capitalism: A Love Story" this way: "I made this movie as if it was going to be the last movie I was allowed to make. It's got it all -- lust, passion, romance and 14,000 jobs being eliminated every day."

Hey,local folks...know what to do with those old leftover paper lunch bags and some doggie poop? I’ve got a really nifty idea...!
Let’s fact check The Blob:
Government Motors: Out of Business
Global Cooling: 10 years and Counting
Gun Control: More Guns, Less Crime (courtesy Pr. Lott)
Pretty much batting 0.000, fatso.
Hey Moore? How’s all that $$$$$$ working out for ya’?
Saw the ad for this on one of the cable stations. Best part is him outside AIG building with megaphone saying he is putting the Board of Directors under citizens arrest.
Only in the movies.
Finally, the NeoComs are outright admitting their hatred of Capitalism.
Didn’t his little turd pile lose at the Venice Film Festival?
Ugh. Pittsburgh just got polluted again. The gasbag is in town.
I’ll bet we see more of this moron on the news than we did the 9-12 protest.
because of the "election" of an ambitious Marxist who is hell bent on destroying the nation and turning into a communist hell hole.
You may be darned right that this may be the last film peace of garbage B.S. you are "allowed" to make. Da Fuer will not allow you to make anything he doesn't approve first.
He’s trying to drum up popular support for a Communist takeover of this country.
MM is one of the best snake oil capitalist of the last 10 years. The man has made millions!
This probably points to Bambi’s sudden interest in Wall Street.
Pennsylvania better hide their donuts!

Gee is Moore giving away all the filthy profit he is making on this project? He denounces capitalism, but has no problem making lots of money on his films. This is total hypocrisy.
So Meathead ids going to premier a movie about how Wall Street caused the financial collaspe. OK will give him, up to a certain point that the Democratswho headed Bear Sterns, Goldman, Lehmanwent overboard with dirivarives. But what was the primary investment medium that were the underlying investment of those dirivatives? Mortgages? What exactly were the sources of those mortgages? Good old Dem pal Angelo? Banks who loweredtheir underwriting guidelines to meet CRA requirements and ACORN pressure? Loans geerated through Fannie and Freddie who, beginning inthe Clinton Administration, beagan lowering their underwriting standards to the point where a conventional loan was 20% down and a 28/36 debt ration was the norm no longer appiled? Do you think that Meathead will include any of this, on his way to the bank, Mr. “Cinema of the People”? I’ll take bets on that.
