My husband and I took part in one of the most exciting events in Washington DC in our lifetimes. The crowds were huge, spirits were high, people were polite, smiling and pumped up, and overall, the experience was AMAZING!
We are a force to be reckoned with - and this is only the beginning!
Here are my personal photos from the March and Rally......
Any of those ‘mall pictures’ out there that INCLUDE the flood of people coming down Pennsylvania Avenue? Love to see that!
Oh and a P.S. — Thanks for the ping! I am so glad you and DH were able to attend this historic event. Sorry we missed each other.
There were 25 buses from the NE Ohio section alone, which counts for 12-1300.
I have not seen any pics of Jim at the March as of yet, but here is a pic of Kristinn and Tolerance sucks rocks.
YEA! THANKS.
Along this line of thinking ...
There were many children and handicapped folks in attendance. There was a little girl, 5-6 years old, smiling and happily walking beside me all by herself. Just as I began to look around to see if she was lost her mom turned around and saw her and came back to get her. We chatted briefly about how nice it was to not have to go into complete panic mode if you did not have the child's hand in yours.
The same thing happened with a handicapped young man. He looked at me as he walked beside me and I smiled at him. Then an arm came out from behind him and rested on his shoulder. His mom was lovely and said how enthralled he was by the crowds and while she was close by, she wasn't panicked by him being a few steps ahead of her.
A gentleman from my bus, in his mid-seventies with some dementia, somehow got separated from his wife. He was missing for nearly 12 hours. He was found safe and sound at 2:30 AM just sitting and looking around.
If anyone has ever seen the mass marches/demonstrations by the commies you will understand how amazing these stories about the patriots behavior are. During one of their marches in January 2007 I witnessed the most vile, hateful bile being spewed by an 8 y/o child that it stunned me. I simply looked at the mother and very sarcastically said, "verrrry niiiice, you must be soooo proud!"
God bless America and all the patriots who have made her decent and strong!
I have NEVER heard anyone recite the Pledge with such pride and fortitude found in your voice. It brought tears to my eyes.
Unfortunately, I did not get over to meet you before you left.
THANK YOU for your service to our country and all you continue to do for our country. My prayers are with you as "they" continue their assault on you.
God bless you and may He continue to bless America!

Lots of great Ohioans there Saturday. Made me PROUD!
THANK YOU for making the long trip to attend this historic event! Love your sign and will add only one word; FINALLY!
Welcome to FreeRepublic! Hope you enjoy your time here with us.
I still don't know why my phone didn't ring (or maybe it did and I just didn't hear it because of the volume of sound coming from that mass of humanity. :)
Good to talk to you later, though. I KNEW you were nice!
Thanks so very much for your kind words.
And I was truly honored to be able to say the Pledge for our gathering.
WE’ll meet at another conference - not to worry.
Thanks again!
Ohio was represented well, Dave!
Yes! I enjoyed our chat very much. Me nice? I guess I do a good job on the phone. In real life the commies tremble when they see me. LOL!
Hey, Ohio!
Thanks for taking the time to go, to make your voices heard, and bring the pictures back. They're great.
I certainly hope so! You are one of my heroes!
Next time we'll meet for real. (Oh, and I'll freep you w info about the lunch we talked about. We'd LOVE to have you join us!)
Glad you enjoyed the photos. Those two ladies were great! Just smiling, happy, friendly angry mobsters. ;)
